@ Snarlz - Edgar Winter!

Crayola has always had "multicultural crayons". They just were not named that. I think it all started with the "Flesh" one. Which was changed to Peach because of the civil rights movement. Then there was "Indian red". A color which referred to the color of pigment from India, and not to Native Americans.

Having had once worked as a sorter - I was wondering how does this automated system make notes of returned books that are damaged, written in, missing pages or used as a coaster?
That was one part of the job that really mattered to me (IMO). Making sure that whoever was going to check the book out next, would not receive a filthy book.

Having just been playing the latest Splinter Cell game - I will have to say. YES. There is a chance to see a panoramic view of Washington D.C.s mall from the top of a building. Unbelievable. And breathtaking.

FINALLY!!!
Rogue in Black as always. :)

This one was harder. I looked through all of the items but did not look at the tiny little pic - because I was trying to do this from my cell phone. Duh.

ZOMG!! I still have my spirograph. I pulled it out of the attic the other week. It still had some old "graphs" I drew on the back of school work from 1976.

My guess is that cat got outside and wandered around. And the cat became the pet of two families. The one family moved to Chicago and took the "homeless" kitty with them.

That school is where the kids from Atlantic High School in NJ and kids in the Temple school district of Texas, need to be enrolled. Let them deal with that for a few weeks and I am sure theiy will be more civil to their teachers and school staff. They might also learn compassion.

A prison meal? I don't think so.
Prison meals are extravagant when you compare them to a cheese sandwich.
A typical meal consists of a meat, two veggies, a salad and a starch. Sometimes you get fruit and vegetable in place of the two veggies.
The way the meal turns out depends on who is preparing it.
If the parents do not like the actions - they are free to make brown bag lunches for their kids.
High five to the cafeteria staff of Atlantic High School.

Wow. Back in the Philippines we used to have a guy like that. He was always at birthday parties. Originally he had started out with just a knife and scissor sharpening service and he had a little sharpening stone attached to the crank on the bike pedals. But he had modified the bicycle to a further degree in a similar fashioon as the Chinese guy. So his main business was sharpening things. And his side business was making cotton candy.

I agree with KCanathema, Dev, Jaymez, Violet72,Brett, Colin and the Temple school district.

I see lack of respect for instructors and school staff by students, everyday. The few students that I know for a fact, who do recieve old fashioned discipline, are respectful.

Ah school days. Living overseas I remember Hanako-San. Then coming to the US I discovered her counterpart of Bloody Mary.
I wondered if they were related. LOL.

@Grelf Erasable markers are only erasable on the surfaces they were intended to be used on. Crayola makes an erasable marker which only erases on paper.
Dry erase markers only work on the dry erase surfaces.
