whoops - the article said it was erasable marker. In my experience, they are usually dry erase markers, which only erase on the surfaces they were made to be used. If you would like to test the theory that the erasable marker "washes right off" May I suggest you doodle something on the hood of your car. And report back to us as to how well it washed right off.

If it was a Crayola erasable marker she used to doodle with - those are made for paper.

@shadowfirebird - you have not seen the desks at schools lately then. Even water-based markers stain. If a desk has already been "vandalized", solvents have been used to clean the desk. Which leaves the surface a little less protected.

I think the whole thing has gotten out of hand. And it has now become a case of greed.

I recall back in the mid 90's when the 509th had a reunion of sorts at the hotel I was working at. It was a special honor to have met Tibbets. They were all stoic and humble about their experience.

There were protestors outside of the hotel. They did not understand that the atmosphere now was extremely different than when those bombs were dropped.

Hey if it means that I am getting a Chihuly inspired work but not at a Chihuly inspired price - I am all for it.
I think it looks great.
