It's his body for sure. But I would hate to see someone like this regret all these mods years later. You often hear stories of tattoo regret. This guy's tattoos would be a real bitch to get rid of.
Well, that wasn't exactly what I meant. I was going for more of the tolerance aspect and my doubts that Mother Theresa would have called her adoptive culture "crapola".
As a Canadian, I wouldn't be annoyed if a French person spoke French to me. We all learn the language in school, so it would be fun practice. I prefer "real" French anyway... I can't understand "Quebecois" (same language, horribly mangled accent).
I don't think the anti-French sentiment is as bad here as you think it is, anyway. That seems to be more of an American thing. And as far as them not speaking other languages, my sister found the opposite when she went to France. Everywhere she went, she'd start out in French and the people would automatically switch to English. Maybe they're more stubborn when they travel... I don't know.
I will agree about the Chinese, though. There are lots of them here (tourists and residents). A lot don't bother to learn the language. It's frustrating to have to deal with them in public. I always end up feeling like the stupid one because I can't understand them. Last time I checked, though, Chinese was not one of our official languages.
A crib or playpen is not the same thing as keeping a child in a cage in your car (although earl's parents must've used a special playpen with a Plexiglas top and no ventilation, since he thinks they're the same thing). Kids have died from being left in cars in the summertime.
AnUnSi, why do you think there are so many illegal immigrants? If it was easy to get in legally, don't you think they would? (Oops... I forgot. You think they're all criminals anyway: rapists, murderers, etc.) Most people don't want to break the law. But they have little choice. When your family's going hungry, do you really want to wait years and go through all the legal channels? Even after all that, you'd probably still be rejected.
I'm not saying illegal immigration is right. All I'm saying is that it's understandable in a country that's so concerned about keeping all the doors locked up tight. Kind of hypocritical, considering the U.S.A's history.
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..."
Some twits say that we shouldn't wear helmets because they make drivers complacent. Drivers are supposedly more careful if bikers aren't wearing helmets.
Of course, if you're on the road with drivers who don't give a damn or who are distracted by cell phones or screaming kids in the backseat, I'd much rather be wearing a helmet. It's the law here, anyway.

But your explanation works, too.

I guess some people will buy tacos no matter whose hands made them.

Typical heathen cultural crapola. *Yawn*. Next."
LOL... oh, the irony.
I'm a Canadian and I live in North America. But I would never call myself an American! That would just be confusing.

Yeah, right.
