It was a top secret spy tool for Nazi fifth columnists. By following these specific directions at a specific speed at night a flight of Gatha bombers could locate the vital rail marshaling yards in Dayton Ohio. It was discovered by Hoover himself while infiltrating a nazi spy ring disguised as torch singer in a nightclub called the the 'Lavender Lover'. Several suspected nazis were arrested and held for questioning, then later hung. Hoover got a medal from Roosevelt for his bravery and daring-do!

A 'Mefshal' or pig's tail straightener. Ancient Uzbek customs likened the pig to devil worship because of their winding tail. Before slaughtering a hog for consumption the tail was 'straightened'and the swine was ritually killed by a Precholphus, a butcher who was also an ordained preist. The only place in the world where you can still get Uzbek 'cleansed' pork in Queens, New York City.

Its a Schlemer-Vorstein submersable torpedo degausser. Or in the original nomenclature: Einem SchlemerVorsteingUntenseeTorpedischungaussermachensteinbessenessenvor11/17. This device was carried on WW1 U boats to prevent torpedos from becomming magnetically charged, thus disrupting their primitive clockwork guidance systems, causing them to 'fly' from water and explode harmlessly in the stratosphere. Expensive to manufacture, difficult to maintain, and of no practical use, the lack of strategic materials and manpower due to these devices implementation possibly caused Imperial Germanys defeat in the great War.

The guy didn't invent the principle, but engineered the widespread use of it. If someone comes up with a cure for cancer that cost fifty cents, I don't care if the ancient chinese discovered it, the person who cures me with it is the hero.

I would like to know how much cooler it makes the food. Does it drop the temperature more than 20 degrees?

This is a percule application device. It was an early form of orthodontia, applied to sufferes of sigmatism. The practice was abandoned when after five years of widespread use, it produced no successful results. This may be the only surviving examples as all of the 'patients' upon removal of the device, immediately destroyed them with hammers.

The object is a Asymatic Muromather. It was used by one Madame Urz during her famous seances in the 1930's.

She was revealed to be a humbug when it was proven that the Asymatic Muromather was actually a simple capacitor and when enough human being touched the brass leads on either side, while holding hands, it would collect enough static charge to display a bluish glow.

Madame Urz was arrested for fraud but escaped her capture by assumming avian form and flying away.

Its a Clockwork Cremelmosher used for brewing beer. After setting the dials for the desired consistency its lowered into a vat of hops and it begins to spin on circles, spovilating the mosh until its clockwork runs out.

Before this innovation the industry was fraught with scandal as spovilation was acheived by forcing small children from poor families to 'swim' the mosh in primitive wetsuits. The children would sometimes become overcome by the fumes and perish. Bottles of beer from a 'deadwaif' batch would have a black star on the labels and are now highly sought by collectors.

Sorry folks, it looks like a coin but neatorama is playing a trick on you. Its actually a manhole cover, size 1.5. The Illinois state highways drainage act of 1947 oddly put the supervision of water transportaion conuits into the jurisdiction of the department of finance. Expecting to yurn it over to department of highways in the next legislative session, the DOF asked for the loan of Highway Dept equipment and supplies, including manhole covers. The D of H refused and in spite the dept of finance created their own square manhole covers, so that dept of H would have to replace them with the normal round covers. They never did. Illinois is a strange place, I was born there.

I am so sick of seeing Sally Jessica Parkers hideous mug everywhere I turn. She is as ugly as a bucket of fish guts and the idea that this big nosed gotch eyed old gank is some sort of sex goddess is revolting. The hype over this inane show is obviously artificial. I'd rather stare at the wall than watch that dreck.

Its a reedling snafflecruck. It was used by grimple laggers to prepare waxwork books for stressing. They were traditionally made from brass to dissapate static electricity, which actually was not a factor.

A corpse scatchit. Long ago churchyard graves were not really owned, but rented from the church. If the family stopped attending the church or were short on tithes, the families deceased would be disinterred, usually in a rather casual manner. The threat of this would usually bring the offending members into line. Not to be too graphic, but the bent end of the scatchit would be inserted into the most convienent orifice of the corpse.

Its Crundel Veloker. It seperates heets of crundel prior to amalganization for better seepage control. Without this handy little gadget, bigfoot's UFO wouldn't have that nice glow as it delivers kipper to all the stranded sea monsters around the world.
