This is a circa 1914 biscuit voucher validator. The British Expeditionary Force in France maintained a high standard of accounts even in the forward positions, and between mass suicide charges against german machine guns would 'brew up' tea and munch on 'knackers'. Each surviving soldier was issued 1 and 1/3 tins of tea biscuits each day and on receipt had to sign and cancel a 2 inch by 3 inch papercard vouchsafe using this device.

It was common conjecture at the time that if such diligence was applied to other aspects of the military endeavor, the horrendous losses of the conflict (World War One for you post 1980 high school graduates) may have been avoided.

A Pondlejink stand. After a bracing ride across the foofens on a hairy legged wobbletusk, you should always thouroughly dry your Pondlejink (and change your trousers)lest you get the collywobbles and prake the wootlehatch.

This is Norwegian shepards Husker Gudak, or calling fork. Norway is a rugged land and normal dogs cannot cope with running up and down hills to gather sheep. A specail breed, the Norwegian Furduu, was bred and had one set of legs shorter than the other to cope with the steep hills. Its ears also wear offset, one being stronger than the other, so when called, they tended to run in circles. However, it was found that they could not hear some tones on both ears and when they were called using this fork, struck with the traditional elk horn hammer, they would gather the sheep straight away. Incidently, its carried on a twenty-five foot staff which caused many deaths when Norway hung their first power lines.

Damn things can poke your eyes out. Buy your kid a nice toy gun and have him and his friends fantacize about killing one another. Much safer and normal.

It is a medical device, known as the spliver gun. Its inventer Jaques Abdul Karpansky, promoted it as a 'definite need for every doctor's bag, no qualified medico should be without it.' This along with testimonials that it was as 'crucial as a stethescope,' resulted in thousands of sales. The gun, and all the promotions were a totally bogus scam. Karpansky died while trying to evade authorities while crossing the frozen Fox river near Rockford Illinois. He was wearing a pair of women's high heel pump shoes and the pressure of the heel points shattered a weak portion of the ice. His body, and the satchel of gold coins he was carrying, were never recovered.

Its not an axe or hatchet, or any kind of destructive cutting tool at all. It is a throngel, a specialized spatula for turning the delicate 'bismael' pancakes made ot Fesmaltin, an ancient Norweigian holiday celebrating the coming of Crodon, the pine bough maiden who brings tint to babies hair. Admittedly a rather minor and insignifigant goddess as pantheons go, but Norway is a cold and desolate place and the hardy Norse celebrate everything they can.

Demons. This bucket is from the 1600's and is made of hazelwood. At the time a miscariage was blamed on evil demons and so to coax the demon out of the womb the bucket was 'baited' with 'birthing blood' and place in the room with the victim. At dawn the bucket was covered and barred before the second crowing of the cock.

Of course, this was all superstition and reflected the barbarity and ignorance of aur forefathers, but I wouldn't open it just the same.

This one of a kind device was patented by Virgil 'Fingers' Wentrock. Virgil came up with an idea while working as a caretaker at the National Aquarium, after being released from the hospital due to a work related accident.

Its a piranna feeder.

I'm for McCain and Palin. I think Obama is an empty suit with no experience or ability. However, neither of them is going to have much impact or much change the next four years, so if Obama wins the world isn't going to end and if McCain wins we are not neccessarily saved.

Its the congress that really needs the voters attention, but most americans don't know who they are or what they are doing. Why don't we have national healthcare? Why don't we have alternative energy? Why are Americans out of work? Why is our education in bad shape? Do you think its the president who makes laws? If one tenth of the media attention went to reporting Representatives and Senators work that went into developing the latest presidential sound bite we might have all things.

I meet a lot of single people and think to myself, 'there is a good reason why they are single'. This maps tells us where they are concentrated, so if you are looking for love you should probably avoid these 'hotspots.'

This is a Habling Rickler. When Raccon skin coats were all the rage you would need to get your great coat 'rickled' in time for the first cold snap. If you didn't attend to the garments maintenence, it would tend to matt and bunch, especially under the arms and in the seat.

When the great depression came people would go without eating lunches for a week rather than suffer the humiliation of having strangers snigger and say 'Getcha Rickle, yer butt's matted!' It is reported that some victims have resorted to suicide.
