a reminder "It’s important to remember that buying more than....."

What's really important is to ignore 15 lines of meaningless drivel by some weirdo. Why don't you figure out how much of the earth's resources are wasted by idiots breathing in oxygen? You need to relax some.

Courageous Grace "I’m lactose intolerant..."

Plus military intolerant but we won't mention that will we.

Ali S. "For the man/woman who wants to steal your soul in style. *click*"

Was hoping you'd see it. I didn't read the article but since it's a pinhole camera they may not be any click.

I forgot to tell you on the forum I also have a stereo camera. Stereo Realist is all it has on it.

Courageous Grace "LOL my mother used to work in the fitting room at Walmart, which also happens to be the incoming call center as well."

Hmmmm, must be one HUGE fitting room or a very SMALL call center. How weird to have strangers undressing in your work place.

Speaking of idiots.

Tanya "It’s the one percent that are truly mad, crazy and should not be allowed to breed (or exist for that matter)."

Amen! One person in particular comes to mind.

Why is is "street art" when it's on the side of a building?

Julian Beever is really good. Scroll down a bit to the 3D art.

HollywoodBob - I wasn't aware that the BSA had been taken over by the LDS.

Courageous Grace "SparkS, way to be an asshole. It seems you can’t be congratulatory to him without dissing other people in the process."

Truth getting a bit disturbing Grace? I stand by what I wrote. You talk like that around your parents? Your son has a wonderful role model.

This will be way O/T but without a doubt the worst movie I have ever attempted to watch has got to be Dune. No, I haven't read the book and I realize more often than not the movie versions are usually really bad. That movie made no sense.

gunfumbler "Card = nutcase right wing Mormon homophobe. And besides: Ender’s Game? That was cool when I was, like, 14.

I will throw-down for Hothouse by Brian Aldiss."

That coming from one with the ID of "gunfumbler". What a riot! Oh yes, they write like they are now 15 instead of 14, man.

I buy a gazillion things each year off the internet and have a lot of experience with every delivery company you can imagine. Over all I have to say they all do a terrific job. Has it always been perfect? No, but considering the volume they handle I'm quite happy. I had a VERY close call many years ago with a USPS delivered package. It was a $500+ radio receiver and for some reason it was left by my garage door. A few feet to the left and I would have run over it when I backed my car out. UPS once delivered a package to a completely incorrect address. Don't remember how, maybe they finally called me, but I found out the address and went to go pick it up. What ticked me off more than anything was the idiots had opened it. Now don't you think if you got an unexpected package you would check the address on it first? My USPS carrier is a real sweetheart and does a fabulous job. I will miss her dearly when ever she retires. What I've taken forever to say is no company is perfect. If I had numerous problems I would complain loud and clear until it is corrected. If they won't correct it make sure you never use them for incoming package delivery. Otherwise enjoy the normally excellent service.

As usual with the 100% worthless POS Vista I cannot get it to work. Says I need a plug in which I already have, so I click it and in the blink of an eye something happens so fast I can't tell what it is. Looks like a DL, but is too fast to be one. I like the idea though.

If I was in charge I'd build a 1 mile wide moat along the entire border and pay bounties on everyone stopped that's trying to invade my country. Then I'd attack Mexico for aiding and abetting this invasion from the highest levels of their government. It's no less an attack than the one on Pearl Harbor.

Any company that is not union is fine with me. The unions have destroyed the U.S. auto industry. When the leftists cram the card check law down our throats as a payback to the unions they'll go after Walmart first, you watch. The law is nothing less than unionization by intimidation. So much for the secret ballot. Ain't it great?

One thing that does bother me about WalMart is that 90% (my guess) of what they sell is made in China. So it's not so much the takeover of the U.S. by WalMart
that worries me. It's the takeover by the Chinese.

Gauldar "Hmm, I would have thought there to be more Walmarts in the bible belt areas....."

What is it you are trying to say?

Add me to the list of those that doesn't think Newton was the greatest scientist ever.

SparkS:- It was about -5°C and very still. We had to blow the bubbles with a toy electric bubble blower - using breath made them too warm to freeze before they hit the ground.

Thanks for the added info, it gets below that here so there's hope. Never would have figured in the heat of our breath. I actually have a bubble blower, or used to. Seem to remember it took a LOT of batteries. Can't find it but I know I bought 3 of them, don't ask, and kind of gave one to someone for her grandson. He was way too young so I'll try and get it back in the name of science. Sounds better than being an Indian giver. It also came with bubble juice so I may not need to buy any.

Thanks Alex, interesting article. I tried to get the PDF file so I could read the entire thing later but got an error 404. What else is new? GGG I go back to the day when one only needed two screwdrivers. Slotted & Phillips. Even though I found some years later that what I would call a Phillips probably wasn't a true Phillips I still think of them as such. To my addled brain if it's like a minus sign it's slotted, if like a plus or multiplication sign it's a Phillips. GGGGG The slotted/Phillips combo is my kind of screw!

(when I couldn't get the .pdf file I gave up and said "screw it")

(bad, huh?)

Howsocome they didn't mention screws found on ships?

I C Kook "This is Kooky. Totally Kooky, I tell ya!"
If anyone would know it would be you. GGGG
(sorry couldn't help myself)
