fun fact: The US release of Jackie Chan's The Legend of Drunken Master is actually a redub of Drunken Master II. The original features an ending scene wherein Fei-Hung is practicing blind boxing, having been made blind and somewhat retarded from ingesting industrial alcohol in the final fight scene in the steel mill. It just blows me away that a tree could be around for 3500 years and still be so small... A ridiculous statement to most people, of course, my own baseline for how big trees ought to be being seriously warped by growing up in the middle of a redwood forest. Except that color is subjective, and we all perceive them slightly differently. Until a purple gets rather magenta-y, it just looks like dark blue to me. Technically i've got red-green colorblindness with some other ambiguities mixed in. That same 'handicap' also means that camouflage isn't as effective if im looking for you.

I see a full range of color, but it isn't the same one you see.

Old is cool, but we've got redwoods around here in the 250 foot range, a couple of which can be climbed to the very tip without ropes or climbing gear. Getting to the first branch on this thing looks like a real pain.
