Twist 2's Comments

I used to be on the Teen Council of the local library. We were having a party in the library basement (with board approval, pizza, and guitar hero) when a bat starts flying around. I ended up having to catch it and put it outside, as one of the few who weren't terrified (or trying to hit it with a broom). So I guess in libraries, it's a genuine concern.

Spanking is a legal form of abuse. I was both spanked and beaten at different times in my childhood. All it did was make me afraid. Afraid to get caught and afraid of my parents.

I bet he has two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that he needed all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

Effect is what happens after something caused it. It is almost always a noun. Affect is almost always a verb. "How has it AFFECTED..." and "...without effect."

We did this all of the time in college chemistry. Just make sure you wear heavy gloves. You can also make it with milk, heavy cream, vanilla, and sugar, to taste.

That's terrible. I'm one of those small-in-the-chest feminists who cannot stand wearing bras for more than a couple hours if I'm forced to. I cannot imagine that can be good at all for your health. Some studies have linked wearing external bras with breast cancer. >.> I highly doubt internal bras would change that.

And breasts are beautiful, no matter their shape. Why do people hate what women's natural bodies look like so much?

And I say that as someone who is very much for animal rights (I'm vegetarian, I volunteer at the animal shelter, but while Peta has some cool resources, I think somethings they say are really silly). Phil wouldn't survive nearly as long if he were in the wild.

I've been to Punxy. He's treated no worse than zoo animals. He's in a huge cage in the front of the local library, most of the year, with his mate. It kind of reminds me of the enclosures that zoos keep meerkats in. And people from Punxy are crazy about their ground hogs.
