LisaL, within the LGBT community, bisexual people are pretty invisible, so it's a little insulting for them to be described in that manner. And to say someone "swings both ways" is perpetuating the stereotype that bisexual people are promiscuous.
If he thinks he's going to win LGBT votes by claiming to be LGBT, he's kind of an idiot. But then again, the LGBT community continues to fund the HRC even though they just claim to be LGBT without doing anything about it.
