Man Spots Himself In Wife's Home Video Shot Sixteen Years Before They Met

When you run into someone from home while visiting a faraway place we say “gee, it’s a small world”, but what do you call it when you unintentionally film someone on home video then meet and marry that unknown person sixteen years later?

You can call it one crazy coincidence, but Ryan and Jourdan Spencer prefer to think of it as fate.

(YouTube Link)

The Spencers were watching old home movies they’d recently digitized when they discovered that their first meeting didn’t take place on a fateful blind date ten years ago, but rather at Sesame Place amusement park when they were kids back in 1988.

Jourdan's family was behind the lens back in '88 when a bespectacled young Ryan entered from stage left and set Ryan's theory in motion:

...people come into our lives when they’re meant to and leave when they’re meant to, and obviously we were supposed to meet again. Our paths crossed more than once.

A Collection of Photos Of Cops Being Awesome

No matter how you feel about the police system in general, it's hard to deny that it can be hard to be a cop. Whether it's getting in the middle of a domestic violence dispute, witnessing a horrific crime scene or dealing with the painful monotomy of a small town with practically no crime, police have to deal with a lot.

Of course, some police have a sense of humor (and a soft spot) too and these great pictures on Mashable prove it.

The Best April Fool's Day Pranks of 2015

Yes, April Fool's Day is over and you're a jerk if you're still trying to pull any pranks on your friends or co-workers. But it's still not to late to enjoy some of the greatest April Fool's pranks performed by some of the biggest companies on the net.

Quite a few of the pranks revolve around making prouducts for pets, which is pretty typical of the internet. But I still kind of wish Groupon's transportation service that uses feline drivers was a real thing.

That being said, there were far too many "pranks" that seem more like things that will exist in a short period of time -like the KINDLR dating service that will match you based on the books you like or the muscle business shirt above. Perhaps most depressingly is Twitter's selfie stick that promises to auto-post your selfies to Twitter -I think every teen I've seen over the last year would love that.

Twenty of the Most Terrifying Clowns from Film and Television

Coulrophobia. It's defined as an "abnormal fear of clowns." Somewhere in between the time of Poltergeist and It, fear of clowns became much more of a "thing." How do you feel about clowns? Do you find them at all creepy? While I'm not a fan of the idea of mimes or clowns, they've never scared me. I have a friend, however, who can't stand the sight of them and is truly startled by every clown, even those that aren't made up to look scary.

The article linked below lists twenty frightening clowns from television and film. The clown shown in the photo above is unlike the others in that he isn't a fictional character. Aside from biopics that would feature simulations of the photo above, he's only been seen on television via documentaries and the news. He's deranged serial killer John Wayne Gacy, executed by the state of Illinois in 1994 for the monstrously brutal killings of 33 males. If you're unfamiliar with the case, read about Gacy and his clown alter ego he called Pogo, and you'll see why he's absolutely terrifying.

See which fictional clown characters from film and television this article rated the scariest. What do you think, readers?

10 Totally Trippy Kid's TV Shows From The 1960s

(Image Link)

The Sixties will always be known as an extremely exciting and interesting era, and with all the interesting and exciting things going on in the world kid's TV shows tried to keep things interesting as well.

Some shows played on the world's obsession with space, others embraced psychedelia and rock music to keep things thoroughly mod, but above all kid's TV shows were stranger in the 60s than they'd ever been before!

(This list is far from comprehensive, so please feel free to tell me about any shows from the 60s that I left out and I'll include them in a follow-up article.)

1. Space Angel (1962-64)-

(Image Link)

Space Angel centers around Captain Scott McCloud and his crew, who are agents working for the Interplanetary Space Force aboard the spaceship Starduster.

They battle extraterrestrial enemies such as the Anthenians and the Evil Queen Of Space, and with a little help from McCloud's alter ego Space Angel they're able to defend Earth one static panel at a time.

Compositing video footage of a talking human mouth over traditional animation is a practice that is seen as silly and hoaky to this day, but adding talking mouth footage to illustrations by legendary comic book artist Alex Toth- now that's just plain criminal!

2. Clangers (1969-74)-

(Image Link)

Awww, look at the cute little extraterrestrial sock critters! The Clangers are a family of mousey aliens who live on, and inside, a faraway planet. They're called clangers because of the clanging sound made by the trash can lids that cover their burrows, which help protect them from meteor strikes.

They eat Blue String Pudding and soup provided by the Soup Dragon, encounter strange flora and fauna on the planet's surface, and solve problems while under the protection of their dad, Major Clanger. They're cute and, like, totally far out, and if you watch one episode you're sure to fall in love! -Thanks Skipweasel!

Pandas' Passion Pulverizes Past Record for Sexual Duration

These hilarious smiley panda pictures are of giant pandas Lu Lu and Zhen Zhen, whose seven minute and 45 second sex session has shattered all records of panda sexual endurance. According to the People Daily, the happy couple is the current record holder for length of panda sex; their panda peers Yi Bao and Jin Xin only got busy for one minute and 20 seconds, and pandas in general are considered challenged when it comes to procreation. This is because female pandas have only one estrous cycle each year, lasting anywhere from two to seven days.

Read more on this story and see additional precious panda photos here.

The Price is Right Spokesmodel Makes Mistake in Game, Gives Away a Car to Contestant

YouTube Link

Today on game show The Price is Right, a contestant won a car by accident when spokesmodel Manuela Arbeláez made a mistake during a game. Arbeláez, who was so rattled and embarrassed after her faux pas that she hid behind the game board while wiping tears from her eyes, certainly didn't upset host Drew Carey or the lucky contestant who realized right away she was going to benefit from Arbeláez's error. (Arbeláez later joked about her mistake on Twitter and said she wasn't in trouble at work.)

Sorry, Manuela. Look on the bright side: at least you didn't fall off a treadmill

You Can Turn an Old Piano into an Aquarium

(Photo: unknown)

The above fish tank is not unique. It is apparently a common craft. Recyclart rounded up photos of several old pianos turned into aquariums. Some of them, such as the one in the video below, remain playable as electric pianos. You can read about one man's experience building one here, which includes this inevitable story:

The kids in the neighborhood would come visit me to see the work in progress. The typical response was, "Cool, but why?"

Some people will never understand.

90s Cartoon Characters Reimagined in Live Action

Would you watch a live action verson of Arthur? There has been a live action Tick, but it used human actors. What would it be like if 90s cartoon characters were depicted more literally? Loryn Brantz of BuzzFeed, who previously showed us Disney princesses with realistic hair and where the cast of Arthur is now, shows us real life versions of these classic cartoon characters.

20 Truffle Shufflin' Facts About The Goonies

Kids who grew up in the 80s were exposed to a lot of cool flicks, many of which had plots that revolved around kids like us overcoming any obstacle to become the awesome hero they were meant to be.

These movies were inspiring, empowering, and made you feel like kids could conquer the world, but no movie delivered the awesomeness along with the kid power message quite like The Goonies.

It had everything a kid could want- an (almost) all kid cast, adventure and exploration in search of treasure, pirate themed bad guys, and a crazy monster dude that ended up being everybody's friend.

Speaking of Sloth, did you know the guy behind the makeup was a first overall pick in the 1973 NFL draft, and went on to win two Superbowls with the Oakland Raiders? His name is John Matuszak, and he gave a nod to his former team in The Goonies by wearing a Raiders t-shirt in the beginning of the film.

Jimmy Kimmel’s Funny Coffee Prank Has People Freaking out over Nothing

(Video Link)

Comedian and late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel had a great idea. He asked viewers to play a simple prank on people in their lives: offer them coffee, then say “April Fools” or “I did nothing to your coffee.”

This immediately raises suspicions. “What did you do to my coffee?!”

Absolutely nothing.

High Fashion Bread Bags

There’s a pile of pancakes that look like a Chanel bag, grilled cheese sandwiches that look like a Prada purse, and a fancy Louis Vuitton baguette. They’re Bread Bags, a new project by artist Chloe Wise. They look good enough to eat, but no amount of real syrup will make these hotcakes edible. They’re made of oil paint, urethane, and metal attachments.
