This is one of those situations where you can talk till your blue in the face about how wrong it is, but what are you going to do about it? Take them away? Make people get permission from the government before they can have kids? Submit a financial statement at your first obgyn visit and if you don't meet the standard they abort? Anyone with half a brain knows this isn't "right", but when you have all the freedoms we do you have to expect that the idiots out there are going to do stuff like this. Ihe alternative, I think, would not be an option most of you would like.
You know this really probably is some mentally-deficient girl who got all sappy over those TLC shows and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a huge increase in BIG families in the next ten years overall. Idiocracy is here.
Honesty I've only read the article so far, and I'm already tearing up. I hope that this will continue. Good should never be interred when some one dies. It should live on and grow continuously.
Thank you Brenden, for being willing to inspire us to bring out our best.
I just wanted to point out that one possible reason for this shift is overtime laws. In this day and age it is not usually beneficial for companies to extend an hourly employee's workday, since it costs them so much more.
We are a work obsessed culture, and while it costs companies more to squeeze in extra hours for hourly employees, the same is not true for salleried employees.
Well whoever wins the election, they are going to be in for a hard four years. The economy will still be in trouble, and we will still be fighting in Iraq. None of these have easy and quick solutions.
In a sense I kind of feel bad for whoever gets the top spot next, because most likely he will be blamed for not miraculously fixing these multi layered, and complicated problems.
Aaaaaaargh, I miss the good old days, when the Force was just something inside you, not explained away as the actions of some microbe in a person's body...
