Given the number of All-Purpose Survival Crackers made, I wasn't that surprised to see they are available on eBay right now. Only 54 years old. Though "The mere smell from the newly opened tin caused coughing fits." and "They basically taste like rancid oil" ... Nah, I won't give them a go.
I would suppose the center circle is not a space capable of being occupied by a piece, but rather just a map of pathways to the next "square." Interesting that the pathway for a bishop is a complete circle. And I think the choice of grey for the third color was more artistic than practical for the players involved. But interesting - and way better than the old "3-dimensional chess" fiasco.
I can't imagine the Bond series being as successful as it has been had Sean Connery not started it off. I think the overwhelming consensus even to this day some 55 years later is that Connery is the best Bond.....James Bond!
I’m guessing the Santa’s are those gross hard fondant things sold as decorations for gingerbread houses and cakes and such. Technically edible, but only barely.
