At the bottom of the entry page are several links to interviews and articles featuring people with hypertrichosis, as well. Worth the read, not just for the medical aspect of it, but also for the fact that these people get on with their lives--and in many cases, thrive--despite their appearance. Certainly a lesson for all of us to live by.

It's hard to imagine such a slow and sticky substance being so deadly-swift in large quantities. But I remember reading about this a while ago, and the pictures of the aftermath were terrifying. I wonder how many survivors swore off the stuff afterwards...?
