This is why I love where I work, in the toy department of the local Borg Cube. Yeah, I have to pick up after screaming undisciplined kids...but I also get to be on the forefront of the lastest toy craze. I've been looking forward to these for two years, and the moment I see them on the shelves I'm snatching up every. color. avaliable!
For my son. Really! ;-)

Sounds like this is an Asimov invention--found in Wikipedia...:
"Isaac Asimov's science fiction short story A Perfect Fit refers to a 3D chess game which is effectively eight chessboards stacked upon each other, making the playing area cubic rather than square (that is, exactly one dimension more than ordinary 2D chess)."

ACK! I can't even play it with ONE board, much less EIGHT!
I'll leave that to Vulcans and Time Lords, thanks.

A boot jack? You stand on the board, and use the fancy metal part to pull your boots off (or on, using the clamp part...)

My comment: "Presenting...DEVO!"
Hubby's comment: "Here we see Exeter, relaxing after a long day at the lab..."
My four-year-old son's comment: "Maybe he has a croupy cough..."
(C'mon, he's four, whaddya expect?)

I would have a room for my studio, turn the dungeon into a giant theater / D&D game room / pool hall...and then fill one of the tower rooms full of theremins and a cadre of speakers playing wolf howls at night...just for driving the neighbors nuts with. ;-)
And if you're stinking rich, you can bloody well afford the heating bill! *GRIN* Otherwise, you can follow in the footsteps of the previous owner, and just burn the peasants for warmth...
