I'm all for frugality. I am pretty frugal myself and do the same thing Non does with lotion and eye cream containers. I also buy whole fish and whole chicken because it's cheaper than buying separate cuts and you can use chicken bones for stock. There are a lot of things I do in order to save money. However, the day I become as neurotic about it as this, is the day I will ask the first person I see to just smack me. This doesn't impress me. I find it a bit sad. As long as you aren't breaking your budget and living beyond your means, would it kill you to take a little pride in your appearance and put the maternity clothes away, lady?
A couple of them look better with the make up, but I agree that most of them are better off without it. As a whole, none of them, except, IMO, the black model, were especially attractive to begin with.
Johnny Cat, you remind me of my husband. He has said the same thing almost word for word before. That said, I have to disagree only slightly. Make up is meant to enhance a person's looks, and I for one, wear it not to impress other women or even my husband, but to erase a few years and not look like I just rolled out of bed. Caked on and overdone make up is always horrible, but if applied correctly, it really is a good thing.
Some parents really have a cruel streak in them don't they? At least she can shorten it to Mary, MP, or alter it to Mary Jane, but I am amazed that she hasn't just gone and changed it altogether. This is one of those cases where it would certainly be worth it!
I don't know that these girls will help Japan in any way whatsoever, but bless their little hearts for trying.
The story is amusing, though.
