LOL, just a guy. Yeah, such brilliant use of sarcasm, wasn't it, and because "it's just neatorama", which made about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine.
Fascinating stuff! I used to work for a veterinary opthalmologist, and we did work on a few wild birds sent to us from local rescue/sanctuaries. Very delicate surgery, especially for a bird, and we almost lost a duck on the table once. We did a similar procedure on a barn owl, like the one mentioned. It was incredible to be a part of that.
The elephant acupuncture is awesome! While I have never worked with elephants, we had a floating vet that did acupuncture for arthritic dogs on Fridays, and it really seemed to work.
Wow. I'm not fat, I know the metric system, and I am American. thisisit, you do realize that the stupid/fat American jokes are really old and beyond ignorant, right? Why don't you find a more creative way to express your hatred, or are you just too stupid?
Moving swiftly on, I think that this is horrible. A person's weight is their own business and there is no reason to announce it to a bunch of people you are about to get onto a bus with. It's just another way to pick on fat people. Fat people get bullied enough.
I used to be that coupon lady, but then two things happened:
1. I was using coupons to get things just because I had a coupon for them, and not necessarily because I needed them.
2. In using coupons to get things I did need, I was sometimes buying a brand I didn't like. Now, for most things, brand isn't an issue and the product is roughly the same across the board. However, for some, it just doesn't work that way, and I would end up with an inferior product just because it was £1 less.
I still use coupons, but only for a product that I like or will actually use. I am of the opinion that it is better to spend £10 on something I like and will use than £1 on something that isn't any good or useless to me.
