I love coffee! And I also love art! But I don't like waste either. I would hope that the artist was smart enough to get the coffee from something that was already going to waste. While coffee joints try to be efficient, you'd be surprised by how much goes out the window.

Wouldn't have mattered which way he shot. If he was totally submerged, the bullet would have slowed down about 6 inches into the water and virtually stopped anyway.

Personally, I don't want to carry anything on me that looks like a weapon but does not function as one. I find it a good way to get into a bit of trouble that one has now deprived themselves the tool to get out of!!! =0D

Almost all fungus have a rather strong and distinct odor, but the smell of old sweaty bedsheets would be an interesting experience. I bet that the difference is once cooked, truffles take on an entirely different aroma and taste profile.

Just consider the awesome portabello - very spicy when raw - but almost like a 12-hour marinated steak when cooked with garlic, olive oil, and a touch of wheat-free (personally) soy sauce to finish. YUM!!!

You know, I went to WWU, and with all the crazy protests and hippies running around, you're bound to just kind of become numb to weirdness like this. I remember seeing a giant Bush effigy made up like a marionette towering above me with some dread-locked dude spitting in my face that I had to go vegan to save the world. After that point, I just kind of checked out.

Kalel: While I have seen some pretty stupid human tricks when attempting to protect the environment, such as cleaning dead salmon bodies from spawn rivers and basically depleting the river of food for countless organisms, but I doubt that this is an example of that.

Abundant coral is a good thing. It's like johnny apple seeding the ocean. We aren't introducing new or aggressive species. We are merely helping maintain the areas that we helped destroy the crap out of.
