LL - that's what WOULD happen if our brains didn't compensate. Apparently (and I'm basing this only on this article), instead of seeing 1/10th of a second in the past, our brain rapidly figures out what it will look like 1/10th of a second in the future and shows us that instead.

Not iambic pentameter. For one thing, there are six paired syllables, not five. For another, cocaine is double accented, removing the requisite soft syllable in iambic.

The second one was not impressive or original at all! All they did was Thriller. Big whoop. First was awesome, they did not follow through with the second. Disappointing. No, they can't do it a third time, but they may do enough to keep rabid audience fans happy.

I agree with a lot of the article, but we still need to be cautious in assigning emotions to animals based on behavior. We tend to see what we want to see.
It's also getting frustrating how the cost of gas is trickling into seemingly every industry. Prices are rising due to the cost of transport. Fewer people are traveling, meaning that tourist destinations and dog boarding services suffer. We can't break our dependence on oil overnight, but prices rise rise rise every day.
