They don't come in children's sizes because, generally, children's footwear has sticky spots so they DON'T slip on the floors.

They don't come in men's sizes because, if the men fell and hurt their bums, their wives would have to put up with whining for weeks.

Not sure why they don't come in sizes for larger ladies, though...

It's cool when people die on their birthdays. I mean, you have to go sometime... so why not make it nice and neat? Then your family only has to mourn/celebrate on one day.

If you crossed #1 off the list, you'd be a little further ahead on #4 and #7.

The "go forth and multiply" idea wasn't conceived (ugh... sorry) when the population was pushing toward 7 billion, that's for sure.

This study was biased because it didn't include dogs. I would expect to find an even better health effect from dogs, actually. Sure, you can pet them and have companionship (like with cats)... but dogs will also get you off your butt and outside because they need exercise... and therefore you get exercise, too.

And is it really healthier to give love to something that couldn't care less if you didn't come home one night? Dogs are always glad to see you. Cats? Not so much.

Before I saw that last panel, I was thinking what a couple of dumbasses they were for not just draping the folded chain across the track.

And what's up with the almost identical third and fourth panels?

Toxoplasmosis can be transmitted from cats to humans (that's why they say that pregnant women shouldn't clean litterboxes). But as far as things like SARS goes, I would suspect that the disease transmission was from eating the cats... not just being around them.
