That sounds like a very slippery slope. I see what your saying, but you forget the DA looking to make a name for himself. That person will use any means possible to get a conviction. Its the early prototype from the video posted by minnesotastan. The Multi-Function folding shovel. Unfortunately, this one didnt do nearly enough cool stuff so the manufacturer had to scrap the project. This is an extremely rare find as only 2 prototypes where ever made.
I have to disagree with both of you. I think the ending was perfect. Depressing and sad yes, but look at it in the context of the movie. Your in an alien world and the only "person" you see never acknowledges you. Even after you do everything in your power to get "their" attention. What would you do?
