Dolphins are cool animals. Even 'wild' ones (not raised with people).. They've been known to aid distressed humans and fend off sharks. Its cool to see such a benevolent nature in an animal.

Embracing nature is fun when encased in plastic.

I love how it declares "scientists" say this. Just because one group came out with a theory, doesn't mean that the entire scientific community is behind it (in fact, the scientific community is quite a contrary group of peeps).

I love how new bio-tech keeps coming out. implant limbs, cpu eyes, the mind-computer interface. I cant wait for this stuff to be utilized in stuff that I can get my hands on! :D

I can't think of a shower I'd less like to have! it seems like you's smack into the curtain any time you moved your arms about, and I have to wonder how the hot air/ cold air dynamics in the room would make the curtain behave (probably somehow it would end up clinging to you. lol).

Also, it just kind of feels 'exposed' and depressing. I dunno why.

Hmm.. that makes me wonder.. remember that 'port-o-potty' that they built in the UK (I think) that was made of 2-way mirrors on all sides? so no one could see in but the person inside could see everything and everyone outside? How about a shower-nook with that material on most sides of it, perhaps for a house surrounded by a nice view (like a forest)? That might be cool.

I also think it has to do with people's innate caution to insanity. Something about an always-happy creature with exaddurated expressions sets of our "Uh uh, this thing is crazy" sensor. I think it all ties into a feeling of "something's not *right*", which other people go into, above.

For a similar reason, I find evil dolls/puppets creppy. Its the 'not-quite-human-but-acting-similar' factor. Animated humanoid-shaped objects or any kind are creepy! (whether a fictional 'evil puppet' or a real animatronic person). :'(

the smoke containment idea is neat, but I'd bet that a lot of smokers wouldn't care. and the ones who WOULD care enough to have such a jacket would probably be put off / offended by the whole lung thing.

I'm amused at the jacket desiner. Kind of an arrogant thing to make. "think makes smokers less annoying AND makes them bear a 'scarlet letter'."
