Agree with Doberman's post. It should be animal cruelty. If a person can be fined for endangering the health of their animals by underfeeding them, overfeeding should have the same punishment. It puts the animal at risk for a whole rainbow of diseases.

Absinthe was somewhat refined, elegant and trendy before it was legal in the USA, and over popularized in pop culture (gee thanks Mulan Rouge, and Marilyn Manson). Hard to obtain in the states, it was fairly expensive to import, and more of a luxury. Average middle-lower class (aka hoy polloi ) really couldn't afford it to be their drink of choice. Now its legalized and just the next thing since starbucks. Horrible lowly peon fad hoppers, there goes a somewhat refined indulgence. I expect to see it in a 40 can before long.

Walmart is a disease.

The town I grew up in had a thriving, fun, adventurous downtown area 20 years ago. Then walmart came. The downtown area is laughable now. Candy stores - gone. Toy/gift stores- gone. Florist shops - gone. Clothing stores -gone. hardware shop - gone. Mom n pop groceries - gone. Sports shops/athletic shops - gone. music stores - vanished. All that manages to stay afloat downtown is a dotting of hair salons, money lenders, morgage brokers, banks, insurance companies, and buisnesses that get a majority of customers from the internet. Who wants to have a day out, and go downtown for that?? nooobody.

If you live in a small town, and don't have a walmart yet... DON'T DO IT! protest, write letters to the city, vote against it, do whatever you can.

Once walmart is in, everyone shops there for "convienience" whether prices are cheaper or not, and the life is drained of a town. Once the damage is done, you have no choice BUT to go to walmart because all the other buisnesses are no longer there.

Walmart is a virus, its a disease that attacks and destroys small towns. I wish there was some way to topple the damn company. Its pure evil.

That elevator has to be new. Give it a day and it will be covered with at least 1 squished dropping and all the wires will be chewed through.

@thomas: I used to use Armour potted meat for crab bait. Poke holes in the top, let it sit out in the sun a couple days and then pop it in a crab pot and drop the trap. Works pretty good. Nothing like Dungeoness Crab, caught fresh. I'll take that over potted meat or spam anyday. :)

mmm liked the first one. Second could have been better, they need to cut that last second "crash n splitz" finale and think of something else, because they can't keep doing that. Also could have used more Bhangra and a lot less M.J. on the second one.
