Haha! This is really freaking funny! Almost as funny as the "Obama Bucks" you know the ones modeled after food stamps with the picture of the then Sen. Obama with fried chicken and watermelon that got some poor non-offensive meaning Republican womans group in Orange County, CA in the news during the election. Thank goodness we reside in a country where we can all take a joke, and a free speech means that our lame attempts at humor don't go unnoticed. Good job, I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants! Hardyharhar!

Two observations: Regarding "Catcher in the Rye" I don't have a copy of it before me, but I think that Holden was kicked out of yet another prep school, as opposed to being kicked out of a "reform" school. I'm just saying, not looking to provoke an urination contest with anyone. Regarding racism and being "anti-white" sorry to shatter the illusions people have here at the dawn of the 21st century, but racism IS a "two way street" and a great many people who are not from the European tradition, are anti-white. Speaking for myself I try not to let that effect my interactions with people from other groups. I don't really care if you are racist or not, you are entitled to your feelings whatever they may be, and so am I. When I encounter those narrow world viewpoints, which are prevalent in the blogosphere, I think to myself: "the white man's burden sure is heavy, and one that some folks just love to carry!" I enjoyed the post, and I would agree that when I read the "Tropic of Cancer" for the first time, in high school back when Nixon was in the White House, I learned a new and powerful word that I found out was toxic to relationships between men and women. I taught my son to never call a woman, “it” in anger, or jest unless his desire was to terminate the relationship with extreme prejudice.

"This could also double as your template for really easy ad remix art if they start putting these up in the subways or bus stops around town. We’re hoping they do!"
Those that don't like a product don't have to purchase it: those that think "art" is not put up on others property without their permission have to suffer from the degradation of the enviroment. Where do I get to "opt out" of being forced to look at graffiti?

I seem to recall that Joyce while walking with Nora or some other female in Dublin one night found the sound of her urinating highly arousing. Any Joyceian types out there that know the true story?

For a comedian to be invited over to sit with Johnny Carson was Johnny's way of giving high praise. Not everyone who preformed stand up on the show got the call: only those who were "good enough."

I think it all balances out: it use to be that "Customer Service" meant providing SERVICE to the CUSTOMER. Now a days, I'm not so sure: there are rude and brain dead people on both sides of the counter, and both ends of the telephone. Not all...but some!
