Wendy's food is garbage. I doubt there is anything 'fresh' about it.

A long time ago, they actually had thicker burgers.
Recently, they've been trying to cheat that by using thinner burgers with a crimped edge.

It's probably retread Kangaroo meat and other mysterious unidentifiables.

Jason, that sounds awfully sweet and fatty.

There has got to be a lower-cal/fat version that still has good flavor.

Putting equal parts cream soda and that mix sounds so sweet it's disgusting; and potentially damaging to your health.

Wow, statistics and damned lies! This doesn't BEGIN to tell the story.

They've got to AT LEAST weight the average here by the Actual % of the population that's employed.

# Days of vaca. are meaningless if only 4 guys have jobs.

Also, other countries take holidays and office hours MUCH more seriously than we do.

1Ex:-Try getting anything in France on a holiday,

or going to a restaurant between the hours of 2:30 and 5:30,

even in the cities much less the country,

and you will be SOL.

-Now contrast that with our Convenience stores, or even NYC where something is always open.

Like the idea.

Very hard to convey tone in pure text.

NYT Study results that whatever you write in email/online text, if there is any wiggle-room, people will interpret it in the worst way possible.

+Also, in advanced, like the MacLaren MP4-12C, and race-cars,

the exhaust is usually centered in the center 1/3-1/2 of the car laterally,

and pretty-much halfway between the uppermost rearward edge of the diffuser and the last trailing edge of the rear top surface/trunk-lid,

so that may also have influenced the vent-bullet designers' thinking, too.

Ok, I've thought about this for a grand total of a few minutes.

The Muzzle-brake effect would be accomplished by the gases escaping laterally as it leaves the barrel, similar to a normal MB.

The "Rocket Effect" I'm guessing is air traveling over the surface of the sides, through the outer ports, and then into the center and out the back port.

It appears to be flat-tail like a 30-06 round, and not a Boat-Tail, like a 308.

I'm guessing that the site + back porting would function similar to an under-tray+diffuser combo on a race-car, reducing the area of low-pressure suction/drag immediately behind the bullet, by channeling side-air into it.

They could possibly ~'tune' the size & edge-chamfer/belling of the side ports (like the end of a subwoofer port-channel) and same of the rear port to optimize this effect.

If they wanted to more precisely-direct differing port-paths, they could also machine the inside of the back port and create zones & guides appropriate to how much air they wanted to let in at what stage & how they wanted to channel it.
Ex: smaller ports up front, larger in back, perhaps with a center cone/velocity spike similar to the spikes in the front of the SR-71's engines.

The size/characteristics of these side ports and back-port interior treatment could be varied, depending on the amount of gunpowder each bullet was targeted for in the ultimate cartridge, concurrent with range, stopping-power, accuracy, etc.

Other than that, no ideas right now.

@Zeon Santos: Yeah, they always take a lot of license, but there are some arts that Do teach you to fight more than 1 person.

There's always too much classroom "cooperation" with the teacher/sparring partner, but I've seen it done against 2-3 people in Aikido class.

Part of the idea is to get out of the circle and use the badguys to block each other.

I would imagine if this were done seriously, the silly Jackie Chan a**-clownery would be out & one of the first things you'd do is to hit each person you encounter with something designed to maim & disable, not 8 punches to the chest or attempt a 1-punch knockout.

But ever since "Alias", I guess, since when has "Chick-Fu" ever been realistic?

SIMPLY. F***ING. MIRACULOUS!!!!!

+He actually made his life abit harder by doing a Pushrod engine with 12 heads instead of an OHC and just 2 big heads.

+Usu. exhaust is on the Outside + opposed from intake, which is usu in the valley.

Either way, one of the best things I have ever seen!

+The guy even has a coolant tank, and what appears to be a water-pump of some type!!!!!!!!

I am sure the filling in those pies is junk.

Probably just the typical bunch of HFCS, food-dye and corn starch.

Now if someone's Mom, who is a real goddamned cook, and not someone slogging canned crap from Sysco in a food-service kitchen made this, it would probably be Teh PWNZ!

(grumpy old man rant over :P )

People need to ease up on the Haterade. Near Poor is a very real phenomenon.

Single-filers, Bracket-creep, etc.

Also, $100k/yr. doesn't get you as far as it used to in NYC.

There was an article about 2 years ago in the Times that $200k is the New $100k.

Another interesting source is, believe it or not, John Cheese's article over at Cracked.com; he says something similar about 1 bad bill or unexpected hiccup creating a major crisis.

Hell, a friend of the family got nearly completely washed-out in the 2007-2009 crash, his business went bust, lost 1 house, and is now hoping to survive on early retirement benefits and still feed his wife who has nearly zero 401k.

Crazy finance stuff can happen if you're not frugal and an operator in investments.

(side note: great book on investing is "The Intelligent Investor", by Benjamin Graham, http://www.amazon.com/Intelligent-Investor-Definitive-Investing-Practical/dp/0060555661/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321856392&sr=8-1 )

@John Farrier: It's not bad. Just bitter, liquoricey + interesting. Drink it diluted by water 6:1, w/sugar-to taste; no fire (that's from the movies).

If you want to knock down the bitterness, try Collins Mix inst. of sugar-water.
(or Pellegrino+Sugar+Lemon Juice)

The Euros have been doing Lemon Soda + Pastis forever.

Anyway, there is not and never has been enough Thujone extracted from the Wormwoods to actually make you trip.

The current Euro Standard of safety, iirc, is 30mg/L.

Molecular biochemist, Ted Breaux has tested era-specific vintage samples, even for the decomposition compounds, and they turned out to have even Less than the current Euro standard for Thujone.

Btw, the crazy old stories were unscrupulous gilded-age profiteers in France selling unsafe knockoffs composed of Methyl Alcohol + Copper Salts before there was a French ~FDA to regulate them.

+If you wanted to trip on thujone, you'd just take a safe form of wormwood; you can find more info about that on Erowid.

Absinthe Bender
with Dark Chocolate Nutella + Crystallized Crushed Hazelnut topping and a surprise Amaretto Profiterole bomb center in the middle of the Absinthe custard filling.

You could only eat one a year (after signing the appropriate release forms), and you wouldn't remember a damn thing about the last 36-52 hours after doing so.

Just wait until they can do it with a much finer dot-size and power-level.

At that point, you could probably get just about any color known to man, and a few not.

I think even green eyes are not actually a solid color when you look up-close.
