apparently if they chose 800 it was "too close to a Trillion" and wouldn't fly
it's a comedy show, and you are both the audience AND the sucker...
lay your money down!
(oh, and hurry up and give it to us! Oh, and, no, we don't want any oversight - in eight months when the whole thing tanks, we'll have funneled the money out to the rich guys again, and the country goes under

it has been proven that drivers veer towards objects on the side of the road that distract them - these jackets will lead to the wearers getting hit by cars MORE often.

ok, some issues to resolve here - I may be wrong but:
Molson is really co-owned by Coors, you really are referring to Labatt who is owned by the same company as the bottle above (Inbev, the largest beer co. in the world)
and
Budweiser was stolen (label colors and style, recipe, name, the works) from one of the oldest Czech beer co.'s, Budvar, which is from the town of Ceske Budejovice... that theft has been disputed for eons, with the American company keeping the Czechs at bay with legalese/money... will probably never get resolved.
Both Molson and labatt make p*ss for beer, buy from a local small brewer and avoid the corporate crap beers
No. 1 beer in Canda-duh? Coors Light, the least beer tasting beer I've ever had

the zen masters say we have lost touch with the universe, but the cows, untroubled by intelligence and its trappings, meditating on their cud, feel the flow... may the force be with you, Bessy

comedy, like pop music, and general intelligence, is in decline. it used to be you had to have chops, now you have to have a video camera and a couple of spliffs, and you're a comic. and giving will ferrel's thumbs up ain't cutting it - introduce me to one person who can sit through his recent rehashing of his shtick in the last 5 movies he's done... he's great, but he's tired

carl and ted: funny or not, mad cow was caused by feeding an animal a type of food it would not eat under any normal circumstance - feeding ground sheep bones and chicken feathers to a cow = bad... feeding ground human to a fish= hmmmm....
I used to work on a fish farm, and I don't trust what they feed them - you eat farmed salmon? very fatty and little taste resemblance to the real thing.
technically, it should be illegal for a farm that sells product to not feed the proper feed to that product (Oh, my dog loved this farm, so I'll grind him and feed him to the pony so he'll run around here forever?)- of course there was the case in B.C. where psycho killer Willie Pickton fed many lo-rate hookers to the pigs on his farm... which someone eventually ate.
the decay cycle sped up does not sell the argument, Carl, as the normal decay of flesh takes ages longer.
and just so dude really understands his karma, a high percentage of the feed sinks to the bottom, so some of dude's "energy" will be forever enmired in lice infested muck

hi Miss C - I guess it was the word "skill" that I was concerned with - lighting a fire in the woods with no match deserves a merit badge. typing out your ego onto a blog does not. no skills needed there.

Nova on PBS had a show on about them last night, so watch for that - explained the whole thing...
ps. watching video is cool, seeing them full blown, live, is one of the most amazing visual spectacles you could imagine, better than a solar eclipse I would wager.

whoever told the dude above that the "czech stuff isn't real" was wrong -
there are several types made in Czech, and many use wormwood - I lived there a while and tried it several times, with other "enquiring minds" - drinking it like tequila is not correct, you should take your time - also, very few people trip on it, it's just an odd sort of drunkeness - and intheory you shouldn't have too much - I once watched an artist friend from LA pound a half bottle (with shots of tabasco in between drinks) - he got looped, but wasn't transformed...
one has to remember that before all the drugs that are readily available today, absynthe was a unique experience, hence its reputation -

I remeber readingonce that dungarees became a fashion item as folks wished to mimic jail house garb- in an "I'm in solidarity with the brothers against the man" sort of theory... so I'm guessing the saggy pants comes from mimicking homeless folks in an : "I'm in solidarity with the homeless, against the corporate rich"... I saw one 16yr.old boy rececntly (white and thoroughly middle class) with his pants completely below his butt (he was wearing boxers to cover his skin, but it was way clear that he went out of his way to do this), and then a tight belt kept them there... he could barely walk as he tried to be cool, but he did have two hot girls with him, so he must be onto something... I also heard a story a while back of some kid wearing his jeans this way, went running down a grassy hill toward a parking lot, the pants kept dropping as he sped up, and he did a serious lip dive into the pavement, seriously injuring himself.
Me personally, I never wear pants, so my ass is always out on parade;)
