you'd think that this town would identify itself, as the 400 year old claw with a hemingway link might help tourism? I'd divert to see that very beautiful place

this pnemoena has got to be real - in the same period of time that the internet blew up, TV has gotten way stupider, and so has pop music, and so have advertisements... and I find the newscasters and radio people are dumbing down. I thought it was me getting older, but I'm not sure.
And if you are looking for work, the internet/email approach is useless - people scan your data, never even see your face and don't even bother to let you know your application was received... and then you find lesser skilled/talented people in jobs you were after... it is true, the humans are getting stupider, and seem more content with it. Wanna go and buy some more gas at inflated prices in a completely false pricing scheme that does not match the actual supply potential? Everyone else is!

if this interests you, you may also like this flash based idea (not video yet, but the hybrid of these two ideas will be the future of media dissemination):

I am not promoting msnbc, I just like good work

having done a fair amount of voice over work, I know that pitch can be altered... I am wondering if a modern singer were to approximate the songs discussed and then in post production the Octaves could be altered so we might hear a simulated version of the power of a Castrato - very interesting to hear of a human accomplishment and not be able to witness it.

this is why I have resigned from the last three "successful" organizations I have worked for... while financially successful, random observation of each (and all three were in different sectors) clearly shows ineffectual and faulty methodology that continues, 'because that's what works'...
I guess you could apply this also to the Human race: we shouldn't be producing so much emissions and be nicer to poor folks, meanwhile, humanity continues along, , and the leaders say "look at the progress" - farcical in the micro, farcical in the macro

they might wanna change "Original" to Caucasian or something - "Black" or "medium" were probably the original colors of smilers - is short-sighted and in bad taste

should be noted that this is probably post late 1980's when THC levels skyrocketed in pumped-up marijuana - I was aware of this then, back in 90 or so when I met a whole ream of young men off their nut- I asked if any studies were being done, but it fell on deaf ears - most of the stuff you see nowadays doesn't ever see the sunshine as it grows, and how could you trust that sort of a plant?

remember the "I'm feeling lucky" option on google in the old days? I once suggested to them this exact idea - that maybe a user would rather get a random selection from their results, just for fun - the button might be called 'spin the wheel' or some such - but I thought it would be a great way to explore those billions of pages without knowing where the hell you were going... google said no thanks

there won't be a breaking point: the humans have devised a system of living that requires a vehicle, and that requires gas, and therefor the sheiks can afford 10 million dollar license plates - when the time comes for a 'break' it will be too late, if it isn't already

if you stop the video in the early frames of the 14th second, you'll see that it's the face of the bad guy in the first Mummy film with Encino man in the lead.
(Spice blow - that's a good one.)

that IS his fifth appendage - and that IS a large bull. one might say that the VW is a lovebug? or that the elepahnt is inspired by the Rabbit (you know what they say about rabbits)... VW should use this as an ad somewhere for its suspension...

great - twice the bandwidth wasted for more idiotic data transmissions by over-fed american kids with nothing better to do... when is the multi-screen version coming? g
