I think I have SPATS, spontaneous psychic audible tourette syndrome. I will say exactly the wrong thing at the right time, its uncanny. Like when my sysadmin was buying coffee, and I was recalling the one and only time I've been ice skating and I felt like "a fairy", come to find out my admin and the guy making coffee were closeted. I also ruin many a surprise party.

Dunno SenorMysterioso, but it looks like Obama gets to enter the time coordinates himself via the ceiling console in the back.

Or maybe thats for shields and photon torpedos.

Paint job is just primer, looks like shots of the car before it was complete.

Hrmm, pump-action shotguns inside but only the driver's window opens, and then only 3 inches. If fired from inside a sealed car the compression would probably blow your eardrums out. And I'm hoping if under fire the last thing they would do is open the doors.

Jenny - "my econ teacher talked about this today
this takes over four thousand dollars out of each teachers yearly sallary"
and
"SenorMysterioso- i said yearly salary, not weekly"

Uhhh....yeah. If they closed school for 5 days, they'd be missing one business week of pay/work. If they then lost over four thousand dollars of salary, your economy teacher is inferring they make over four thousand dollars per week.

Given the average school year (minus vacations) is only about 40 weeks apparently you're econ teacher is pulling down $160,000 / year. Plus the whole summer off. I'm with SenorMysterioso, we should be going for teaching certs.

Either that or your econ teacher should present himself to your bio teacher, cuz I'm sure his talking rectum would fascinate him.

We go through a gallon of milk a day (myself, the wife, and 3 sons). Here in WNY we pay about that price, roughly $2.50 a gallon, but we never buy it from Wal-Mart.

For one, it tastes horrible. For two, there are so many local dairies it seems silly to get milk trucked in from 600 miles away versus milk bottled 10 miles away.

xchmp: Its not so much having a contempt for the customers calling in, its an exasperation of how extremely dim-witted some people can be. "Lowest common denominator" is a term I would use repeatedly when explaining my tech support job to people. Its a high stress job with relatively low pay, sharing these stories with other techs is one of the few outlets you get.

Its not so much the people who aren't tech saavy, its the people who are either completely unwilling to impliment the advice that they are calling in for, or the people who are utterly ignorant. Ignorant as in having to explain left versus right, how to spell their own username (the one they picked themselves), why electronics and fluids don't mix, etc.

Wow yeah, how do you know where your front wheel is going? I hope to God there isn't a headlight in the cat's teeth, looking all ghetto fab with a blinged-out grill.
