The waka-waka-waka chronicles of Pac-Man and the multi-colored ghosts with the cute names have been brought to life in many ways, but Michael Bosanko has officially shed new light on the concept of fan art.
His amazing light art photographs really bring the Pac pursuit to life, and somehow the ghosts look spookier when they’re nothing but whispy tendrils of light.

He’s the voice of many cartoons both crappy and cool, he has a van, and once you’ve heard the name H. Jon Benjamin you never forget it. His voice is so iconic, so sultry, that when he does voiceover for things other than toons he brings a unique je ne sais quoi to the project.

Those caring individuals who run animal shelters know that finding new owners for their furry charges can be a daunting affair, and anything that can be done to help make the process easier is seen as a blessing by those who give their lives helping pets find good homes.
When digital artist and photographer Sarolta Ban adopted a dog of her own she was struck by inspiration and came up with the brilliant idea to help shelter pets get adopted by creating fun surreal portraits of each dog.
Portraits of her subjects are gathered from around the world, and whenever one of these lucky dogs are adopted she gifts the new owners with a copy of their surreal portrait. What a great way to connect these needy dogs with new owners!

Even though one of the Grand Theft Auto games (Vice City) is set in the 80s, the franchise itself was nothing more than a glimmer in the eye of a game designer when disco pac-man was busy playing with rubik’s cube while he tried to escape the wrath of Donkey Kong and the A-Team, but if GTA V had come out in the 80s it probably would have looked a lot like this animated short by MajamiHiroz.
This pixelated re-imagining of GTA V reveals what the popular criminal simulation game would have looked like if it had been released for the Commodore 64, and the rockin' 8-bit soundtrack really adds to the experience!

A long, long time ago in a country far, far away there was a rumor about a science fiction movie that came out in America which rocked everybody’s world, a movie that contained cool words like Darth, Jedi and Skywalker.
This movie, of course, was Star Wars, and the Chinese were strictly forbidden from seeing this American film, but that didn’t stop some Chinese artists from dreaming about that forbidden space opera, and bringing their thoughts to life in a comic book.
An assistant history professor named Maggie Greene discovered this incredibly rare Chinese comic book version of Star Wars, entitled Xing Qiu Da Zhan, at a Shanghai book fair in 2011, and now she has shared some of the wonderfully illustrated pages from the book with her fellow Star Wars geeks via the interwebs.
Darth riding an alien triceratops? Obi-Wan with a J&B sign on his wall? C-3PO jumping into the fray? The force is strong with this comic!
