The Witcher franchise has been setting the bar ridiculously high for fantasy RPGs since the first Witcher game came out in 2007, just like The Witcher novels by Andrzej Sapkowski did when they first came out in the mid-80s.

Faithfully translating the look of Geralt of Rivia, the fearsome creatures he fights and the colorful cast of characters that populate the world around him rests on the shoulders of the talented artists from CD PROJEKT RED.

Since 2007 Polish video game developers CD PROJEKT RED have been working on The Witcher games and giving them their signature look, their artistic efforts culminating in The Witcher 3, the final game in the series.

This stunning concept art represents the hard work their team put in to the game before it ever reached the 3D modeling stage, and the illustrations are so fantastic even non-gamers will appreciate their beauty.

Store bought desserts are made so each one looks the same no matter how many companies like Sara Lee or Entenmans make in a year, so customers know what they're buying before they put it out at a potluck.

The Doritos Guardians Of The Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 2 promotional MP3 bag came out and people paid $30 a pop to get their hands on this collectible gimmick and brag about it online.

But Engadget wasn't very respectful with the bag they bought- because they immediately tore it apart to see what was inside.

Here's what they found:

Getting the music files out of the bag is a bit of a chore, and tearing it apart to get at the electronics doesn't yield much of a reward -- the Doritos MP3 player is little more than a cheap, exposed circuit board sandwiched between two pieces of foam. Without the snack bag, its buttons are too tall and awkward, the audio port is exposed and flimsy and it has no visible user interface to speak of. It's not even worth pillaging for the player's microSD card, which holds a paltry 256MB of data. Looks like we destroyed the eBay value of this season's most ridiculous collector's item for nothing.

It's really depressing to think about how many veterans have gone to war and served their country well only to come back to the U.S. and find themselves without a home.

And even though the government provides assitance to some the staggering number of homeless veterans proves these government programs simply aren't doing enough.

So people are pitching in to give homeless veterans a new lease on life- in Kansas City, Missouri the Veterans Community Project is helping their fellow veterans get off the street by building an entire community of tiny houses for them to live in free of charge.

Veterans Village is still under construction, but soon it will house at least 50 homeless vets and help them get back to the normal life they had before they went to war.

Modeling has been seen as something that's only suitable for "perfect looking" people until the recent shift in social attitudes has made modeling agencies and photographers rethink their position on beauty.

It's not strange that these attitudes have shifted, it's strange that it took so long for people to recognize that true beauty is found in diversity, like the unusual beauty of Caitlin Stickels.

Caitlin was born with an extremely rare condition called Cat Eye Syndrome (Schmid Fraccaro), which is a chromosomal disorder that causes "facial disfigurements such as a cleft palate and a non-existent tissue at the colored part of the eye—hence the name ‘Cat Eye’."

Recently the 29-year-old model was offered the gig of a lifetime when photographer Nick Knight asked her to star in a shoot for V Magazine, and now Caitlin hopes her shoot will inspire others:

“They may not always realize it, but even dreaming or wishing that you could be a part of something, that’s still giving yourself a chance. I couldn’t even dream of working with Nick Knight, let alone being in V Magazine.”

For years people have been greeted by a strange and adorable sight in the shopping arcades and streets of Tokyo- the mysterious Cat-Men, who wheel baby carriages full of cats around like it's no big deal.

The Cat-Men supposedly first appeared in a Kyushuu shopping arcade around 2010, but now there are Cat-Men popping up all over the country, and they're starting to be seen as a bit of a problem.

Between the huge crowds who form around them, the fact that some Cat-Men sell cats and their willingness to go too far for the sake of entertaining crowds these seemingly innocent guys may be up to no good. But these cats certainly don't seem to think so.
