The Bulldog Bingewatcher

YouTube Link

This bulldog is a fan of watching videos on the iPad. Who can blame him? But when the fun is over, he's not waiting around for his human to come over and restart the process. On the contrary: this guy has things under control. Even when a switcheroo is pulled and he finds himself watching himself as life imitates art, he's not one to be thrown. Via Daily Dot

The Inside Story of Star Trek's Greatest Cliffhanger

"Mr. Worf, fire." With those words closed part 1 of "The Best of Both Worlds." When that episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation aired 25 years ago this weekend, it was hailed as the greatest cliffhanger in Star Trek history.

The Borg, which were the greatest threat to the Federation in its history, had invaded and captured Captain Picard. They assimilated Picard and made him a Borg drone. In the midst of rumors that actor Patrick Stewart was leaving the show, the first part of the episode ended with Commander Riker ordering the Enterprise to open fire on the Borg cube containing the captive Picard. Fans were electrified.

Forget Velociraptors! Chris Pratt Met the Challenge of His Life: Training Little Kids!

Remember that Chris Pratt raptor training pose? Turns out, wrangling velociraptors was just preparation for something much more challenging: training human children.

Just to underscore how dangerous little children could be, does anyone know where Chris Pratt is now? He hasn't been heard from since ...

World's Longest Pizza Looks Like a Red Carpet of Molten Cheesy Goodness!

Image: MarcoBrusa

If you think you have to wait for a long time for pizza, just be thankful that you didn't have to wait 18 hours like for this one. But result is worth it: a new Guinness World Record for world's longest pizza!

For the 2015 world fair in Milan, Italy, sixty pizza makers came together to cook a sizzling margherita 1,595.45-meter long (that's nearly a mile-long!) The pizza was made using over two tons of tomato sauce and half a ton of mozzarella cheese, and stretched over 800 tables.

After the pizza was declared as world's longest, it was fed to over 30,000 fair visitors, and donated to a local food bank.

So, just how does one cook a mile-long pizza? With moving ovens, of course:

Ten Very Weird Looking Animals

The Aye-aye

It's a jungle out there for everyone, particularly some of these endearing yet bizarre creatures of the wild. For example, the demonic looking (yet somehow still cute) Aye-aye, a lemur native to Madagascar shown above, is endangered because the local villagers there consider him bad luck. As a result, the poor things have adapted so that they hide up in the top of the trees there. Stay safe, little guy. Via The Richest

Everyone Has to Be a Joker

The only thing worse is when dead skeptics surface and try to prove to my customers that I'm a fake. I'll probably just shut down the shop when James Randi passes away.

These Guys Were Born To Be Dads

Most kids see their dads as heroes- larger-than-life figures who fix problems, fight the monsters in the dark and make their kids feel safe and secure when they tuck them in at night.

Some dads have a hard time adjusting to fatherly responsibility, but the guys in this collection of 19 Heroic Fathers Totally Nailing The Whole Parenting Thing were seemingly born to be papas.

They don’t let fatherhood get in the way of the most important things in life, like gaming and napping, and yet their kids don't feel deprived. They're just happy to be spending time with daddy. Happy Father's Day!

Images Of The Wild And Wooly Costumes Worn At British Pagan Festivals

The British Isles have a long and storied history with paganism, and even though the zealous religious right of the past didn’t look fondly on the heathen Celts modern Brits embrace their Celtic history with pride.

The old Pagan ways are no longer seen as a threat, so people are free to celebrate the old ways at various festivals with origins so obscure they're often hard to explain.

However, most attendees agree that wearing an elaborate, and often strange, costume to these festivals is generally more important than fully understanding the point of the party.

Photographer Henry Bourne has been capturing all the wild costumes worn by those who attend these Pagan festivals since 2009, and now 125 of his amazing portraits can be found in a book entitled Arcadia Britannica: A Modern British Folklore Portrait.

See more of Henry's Pagan festival portraits, and read about what inspired his series, here

Disney Princess Minions Are A Whole New World Of Wrong

Disney's princess characters are drawn to be attractive, likeable and someone girls can relate to, but they’re also extremely normal, and normalcy has limited appeal.

Minions are drawn to be likeable, visually appealing (in a ridiculously cartoony way), and anybody whose imagination got them into trouble while they were growing up can relate to those little yellow yutzes.

So, if princesses and minions are both extremely likeable, combining the two should result in the creation of a mega appealing hybrid, right?

Artistrator Jen Lewis has used her active imagiminionation to combine Disney princesses with banana loving Minions, and while her creations don't exactly prove the theory of hybrid likeability they're definitely unforgettable!
