Gamer Crest - The Crest Of Champions

Gamer Crest by Cory Freeman Design

Gamers are a proud breed, and when they meet one another in the wild and start to discuss games it immediately becomes clear that these gamers belong to the same clan. So why don't they have a royal crest to call their own? They have enough kingdoms, heroes, villains, creatures and support characters to fill ten planets, and their imagination allows them to build worlds full of wonder at will.

So it seems the gamer's lack of a royal crest is an oversight which has been remedied by talented artist and lover of game Cory Freeman Design and his Gamer Crest t-shirt design. Now gamers can declare their allegiance to gamedom and show their fellow gamers they're part of a royal kingdom where they can unite in board, tabletop and video brotherhood!

Stitchzilla - Ohana Means Family, Kaiju Means Run For Your Life!

Stitchzilla by Harebrained Design

In real life he's small and relatively nice, but in his dreams he's a giant city eating monster! You may think this dream of being a bad guy makes Stitch inherently rotten, but the truth is his creator Jumba put that anger inside him. He was created using genetic material from at least six of the galaxy's deadliest predators, and given heightened strengthened and speed to make him a more efficient killer, so it's only natural that he would dream of becoming the mighty beast he was meant to be. But thanks to a little girl with a huge heart named Lilo we never need to worry about Stitch going full kaiju, because he may be a killer- but he's a lover too!

Add some kaiju awesomeness to your geeky wardrobe with this Stitchzilla t-shirt by Harebrained Design, it's one big and bold design that's sure to get you lots of attention!

Guy Asks Mom To Describe Overwatch Characters Based On Their Looks

Blizzard has made a big impression on the multiplayer community once again with Overwatch, a squad-based game that's every bit as nice to look at as it is to play.

The characters in Overwatch are designed to have lots of visual appeal, and each one has a unique set of abilities and skills that make them stand out in the crowd.

(Image Link)

But, as Redditor karhall discovered, the character designs don't really say much to his uninitiated mother about who each character is inside their "space suit" or what they can do in battle.

karhall asked his mom to give each character a nickname and describe them based on their looks, and her answers were so "mom" and so great he started posting them on his Tumblr site.

Video game developers should note karhall's research and start holding focus groups full of moms who have never played the game, because their thoughts about the characters could help shape the final design.

But if they do these brave developers should expect lots of cute...

You Never Know When Pawn Stars Memes Are Gonna Come Through That Door

(Image Link)

According to Rick Harrison working in a pawn shop means never knowing what's gonna come through that door, and as anyone who has watched Pawn Stars knows people try to sell him some pretty strange stuff.

(Image Link)

But I wonder how much Rick and his fam would pay for these Pawn Stars memes?

He'd definitely lowball the meme creators, and then Rick would have to get the memes appraised and try to keep Chumlee from playing with them too much, but from there it's pure profit!

(Image Link)

It's mind boggling how many memes and dumb jokes have been made based on Rick's Pawn Stars intro monologue, and equally puzzling why these dumb memes keep making me laugh!

It's Batty How Different This Pooch Looks

Tucker may not realize he's different from other dogs, but he suffers from MPS VI, a rare disease that causes a number of medical issues as well as certain deformities. Those deformities look different on everyone with the disease, but in Tucker's case, they happen to have created a dog that looks more like a bat.

He may not be able to walk like other dogs and he may have to wear goggles outside to protect his eyes, but Tucker is still one happy pup and he loves to make all kinds of friends -both human and K-9. You can follow his adorable adventures on his Instagram, Tuckerwearsgoogles.

French Fry Toppings From Around the World

You probably know Americans love ketchup on their fries and the French love to dip theirs in mayonnaise, but did you know that San Diegians love to top theirs with cheese, guacamole and carne asada? Or that fries in Vietnam are often covered in butter and sugar? That's right, there are a lot of ways to eat fries and this cool article covers interesting combinations from around the world. It's got me craving some curry chips right now.

Actors Who Almost Played the Joker

The Joker is an iconic comic book character and it's not surprising that some actors with a geeky side long to play the villian. Most notably, Robin Williams almost got to play The Joker in the 1989 film, but Jack Nicoloson was originally offered the part and when they approached Williams with the role, Nicoloson changed his mind. Williams was also almost cast as The Riddler in the 1995 film, but Jim Carrey was picked over him. While it's sad that comic-book fan Robin Williams never got to act in one of the Batman films, it's probably best for his legacy that he wasn't cast in that trainwreck.

Some Dogs Are Terrible At Playing Hide And Seek

(Image Link)

There are plenty of dogs out there who enjoy playing chase and be chased, but only the shyest and meekest dogs hide well enough to engage in a game of hide and seek.

That doesn't stop dogs from trying to hide every time thunder starts clapping outside or they get yelled at for knocking over the trash yet again.

But try as they might they're just not very good at hiding.

(Image Link)

Dogs are the very best seekers though, so some of their strange hiding habits may be a way of masking their scent so their canine pursuers can't sniff them out.

Either that, or dogs are just total weirdos!

Scared Seal Dives into a Boat to Escape Orcas

(Video Link)

Orcas eat seals -we know that. Seals know that too and they know the best way to escape is to get to dry land. When there is no dry land though, there is another option for the truly desperate -a boat. And this little terrified guy was all too willing to hop a ride on a passing by ship filled with humans as long as it meant he wasn't on the orca dinner menu.

Average Rob Hangs Out With Celebrities So We Don't Have To

Aren't celebrities the worst? They seem all cool when they're in movies and TV shows and in concert and junk, but then you actually meet them and it's like eeeeewww! Gross!

You know who else thinks celebs are, like, the lamest people to be around?

AverageRob, now he knows what a drag it can be to hang with the rich and famous, especially when they're constantly makng messes he has to clean up!

AverageRob turns average photos of celebrities into AverageRobs, using the magic of Photoshop to insert himself into their staged definitely not staged snapshots.

And since celebrity photos can't be twice as fake the AverageRobs effect actually makes them twice as genuine and four times as real.

But don't do the math on that, math makes for sore brains.

Redditors Share Their Shower Thoughts About Batman

I wonder what Batman thinks about while he's taking a shower?

He probably runs through the minutes of his last mission, thinks about how much he hates clowns and keeps a fearful eye open in case a psycho man-bat tries to jump him in the shower.

We can only speculate about what runs through Bruce Wayne's bat-tastic mind while he bathes, but the rest of us tend to wonder about pretty normal Batman-related stuff while showering.

The Showerthoughts subreddit is home to many brilliant Batman related concepts, questions and criticisms, the kind which leap into our minds while we shampoo our heads which, if left unshared, could drive us mad.

Dress Left In The Dead Sea For Two Years Becomes Glittering Couture

Have you ever wondered why mermaids wear a clam shell bikini top instead of, say, a blouse?

It's because the salt in the ocean water collects on clothing and then crystallizes, and after a while that blouse would look more like a salt sculpture than an article of clothing.

This is the concept explored by Israeli artist Sigalit Landau in her photo series Salt Bride, featuring images of a dress which Sigalit left hanging in the Dead Sea for 2 years.

The progress shots captured over a three month period show the ocean waters naturally transforming the dress into an encrusted couture dress fit for Neptune's wife Salacia.

Here's a bit about the concept behind Salt Bride

The concept was inspired by S. Ansky's 1916 play titled The Dybbuk, in which a young Hasidic woman becomes possessed by a deceased lover's spirit, though engaged to be married into a wealthy family. The story is rich with romance and sorcery, which Landau aimed to emulate. The original Salt Bride garment is a replica of the one worn in the dramatic production in the 1920s, while the salt serves to symbolize that supernatural force, bewitching the black fabric into the new appearance of a white wedding gown. The photographic process, too, stands as a metaphor: just as the garment had to be immersed to undergo its metamorphosis, each printed image was necessarily developed by liquid emulsion.

Aren't You A Happy Lil Fella!

That song “Put On A Happy Face” failed to mention one thing about smiling all day every day- people will think you're deranged, and instead of spreading happiness you'll be spreading fear.

But this comic by Owlturd is right, to heck with how other people feel about my maniacal grin, I feel happier already!*wink*

The First Contemporary Art Exhibition For Dogs

Humans assume dogs don't appreciate fine art because they often tear any artwork they find lying around to bits, but dogs explore the world with their mouths and they mean no disrespect.

In fact, if a dog's eyes worked like ours they would definitely appreciate art and stare at it more, but they can't see colors like we do.

So dog lover and artist Dominic Wilcox decided to put together an art show both dogs and their humans would find amusing, with exhibits that appeal to canine sensibilities.

'Play More' includes- paintings with colors within the dog vision color spectrum, a giant ball pit shaped like a food bowl full of kibble, a virtual frisbee screen, simulated car window experience, and dancing water jets to delight and refresh art lovin' dogs.

"You Are What You Eat" - Bizarre Hippie-Era Art Film Featuring Tiny Tim

A healthy diet was a big part of the Hippie lifestyle, and their dedication to going all natural extended into every aspect of their lives, from their choice of food to their taste in music.

Stuffy, corporate bands didn't thrill Flower Children at all, they preferred bands who were wild, woolly and let it all hang out on stage, like that ukulele strumming superstar Tiny Tim.

So what does all of this have to do with Peter (of Peter, Paul and Mary) Yarrow's bizarro art film You Are What You Eat?

Well, Tiny Tim's in it, as well as a bunch of fully freaky folks showing us what it was like to hang out with Hippies circa 1968. It's like far out film food for your mind!
