I'm a fan of the snowboard racing event. That's exciting enough.

Even when warnings are understandable and explicit, they are still ignored.
In an area of Japan, there are stones inscribed with warnings that a tsunami was able to reach the level of the stone markers. Future generations were warned not to build their houses below the level of the stones.
These warning stones were readable by even modern Japanese, and described a type of disaster that all Japanese are familiar with. And yet, in some places, residential buildings were placed too close to the water, with disastrous results during the 2011 TÅhoku earthquake and tsunami.
Radioactive cats and 'nuclear priesthoods' don't stand a chance.

Even if it's filled in within a short time, the consistency (density) is going to be quite different from the surrounding soil.

Interesting. It's not clear to me why the sediment that eventually fills an abandoned burrow would have a different consistency from the surrounding dirt and thus fossilize differently.

Funny cause I'm a huge Mel Brooks fan but I never found Blazing Saddles to be that funny. I know I'm in the minority on this. I actually found Young Frankenstein to be much funnier as well as History of the World Part 1.

My two year old car uses 0w-20 oil. no issues starting in low temperatures. 20 years ago, I used 5w-20 and could start at 30 below.

4 places? What's the reality... 100s, including many already featured on Neatorama.

There's a new TV show on the Fox Network called "LA to Vegas"... I swear it's a continuation of the movie "Airplane!." Surely I'm not joking! Check it out!!!

Steve did many funny bits. The "Answer Man" which was probably an old vaudeville act was an earlier version of Carson's Carnac. Steve pretty much steered away from any political topics. Wish the so-called comics of today would do the same and just be funny.
