What price prosperity and security? If you don't like it, don't live there. Personally, I wouldn't mind living in a society where there is no drug trafficking or chewing gum.
Heather: no, the first two points don't contradict themselves. On every form, census, survey, etc you come across, there are check-boxes for "single", "married", "divorced", or "widowed". There is no check-box for "dating the same person for four years with no voiced commitment".
Yeah, 8 hours in jail, handcuffs and mugshots are extreme. But why do I have the feeling we aren't getting the full extent of the story? Perhaps the children wouldn't stop when told to. Perhaps they ganged up on the police/security officer brought in to stop the fight. Ever been beaned in the head by an apple? Could be seen as force with a deadly weapon.
One would think that he flew United again because they invited him to talk to their customer service reps about his experience and they paid for his flight. The real question is....why would he check his luggage with them again, after the last time????
At first, I thought, "WTF? Who cares?" But I have to admit...I wound up looking through all of the NFL helmets. It's interesting to see how little the helmet designs have really changed throughout the years. Most stayed pretty consistent from the mid 70's to the mid-late 90's.
