Oooooh man, I miss those! When I was a girl our babysitter kept them in the freezer, and would give my brother and I one each after school. We were perfect little angels at her house...gee, I wonder why... ;-)

C'mon guys, give her a break. At eight years old, she's doing pretty well for herself--most kids her age are more obsessed with games and dolls than with HTML. No need to rip into a kid!

OK then, how about World's Largest Deliberately-Made Drain-Hole That Didn't Suck An Entire Lake Into A Salt Mine, Wreaking Massive Havoc And Completely Altering The Local Ecosystem...? :-)

"They look like they’ve been stuck together by a committee," says bilby conservationist, Tony Friend...

Tony unintentionally just described 99% of Australia's wildlife! *LOL*

Hey! It's shaped just like my house! Only...um...more organic.

I guess it would be useful to retract the room during the colder months, to help cut down on the heating bill. But I'd need some natural lighting streaming in from somewhere, or I'd go bonkers!

Oh, a worm snake! I used to find snakes like this one crawling through my garden at my previous residence, though only about half as long as the above example. You'd think it was a nightcrawler until you saw its miniscule eyes. (The eyes are not much bigger than a vanilla seed, and almost vestigial. I don't think it sees much more than shadows and light.)

It has a pointy scale on the end of its little tail that it uses to scratch attackers with. And it poops in self-defense. (and it's STINKY poop!)

BTW--Speaking of "eyes", someone in China is pulling the (purple?) wool over the collective peepers of the populace. The "mutated space potato" claim is complete bunk. I've been eating these for almost ten years, they're a common sight at the Central Market in Austin!

YUM! I love purple spuds! They're a little creamier than standard spuds, and they mash quite nicely. I've even made them up as a classic potato salad--very eye-catching at a big picnic!

Apparently the security company I worked at several years ago never read the rules. About a quarter of the questions the interviewer asked me were on that very list!

(Maybe that's why the company no longer exists. Good riddance to it, too!)
