very cool. i didn't get the "over-caffienated" part. he seemed a little under-caffienated to me. i mean, my eyes don't drag after i consumer copious amounts of caffiene. oh well. awesome short. rdubbs: i agree. this needs a sequel to wrap it up.

yunno, i always wonder why married couples who find each other cheating in the same fashion divorce, when they could join forces and combat their own sex life rather than sneak around. there was a similar story a while ago where this married couple started having issues and began seeking further companionship on the internet. they both ended up meeting someone new. the woman wanted to meet her new man at the mall and told him to wear a red rose. she was unpleasantly surprised to go to the mall and see her husband wearing a red rose. the husband accused his wife of cheating, and divorced her! wtf?! i just don't understand. oh well.. i guess i can learn from these peoples' mistakes!

Hey alex! congrats on the high tally. that has to feel good, right? i love this site. it's always the first place i go in the morning and i always check it throughout the day. i also recommend it to all of my friends because it is so diverse; it can get everyone involved!

i am working on my communications degree at wright state university and will be graduating in june of this year. i work at two radio stations, one as the marketing director at wright state (WWSU 106.9fm, and on the web at listen.to/wwsu) and the other as a board producer (WHIO Dayton- AM1290/95.7FM). i plan on moving to a better location than dayton to further my broadcasting career, and would love to run my own production company out of my home.. wherever that may be... i was also on-air hosting my own show on WWSU for a while and took on a co-host for "rock-talk with shortcake and soko" until last spring. i had my own show last quarter, but it's really boring to be in a studio alone for two hours just playing the music i enjoy. i can do that in my room. plus, i am taking 18 credits this quarter, and a show just didn't fit into my schedule. i live with my boyfriend joey in a townhouse in miamisburg, ohio, and i have a white-with-black-spots kitty named heffer. i've really gotten into politics and activism in the last couple years, contributing to the human rights campaign, avaaz.org, the center for food safety, moveon.org (although they tend to hurt their own cause sometimes), and ron paul's presidential campaign. i buy primarily organic food and eat only grain-fed/free-range/added hormone and antibiotic-free meat and eggs. i drive a brand new 2007 VW rabbit, and i am the happiest person you could ever meet! keep up the great work on your site, and i will keep visiting!

@Kraka- i still care... your generalization is wrong, my friend.

you shouldn't get special treatment becfause your heart is broken. take a vacation day if you're really not up for coming in to work. my last break-up was the worst, especially because my mom died a month after it. i was lucky enough to take a week off for my mom's death AND to mend my broken heart, but i didn't expect any special treatment because i was sad about my breakup. it's all part of not bringing your home-life to work. but then it could be argued that maternity/paternity leave is personal, but sometimes people just don't want to see a woman's water break and hear her labor-induced screams down in the cafeteria.

@minty: only a small % of men granted paternity leave here in the US take the offer as well. interesting, because we were just talking about this subject in my sociology of gender class the other day. most men don't take paternity leave because they don't want to be seen as "weak," as if being weak takes away a part of their man-hood. some men may not take the days because they need the money, understandable, but they should at least take some of the time to help their mate. it's funny how men act sometimes... an act that could "take away manness" in front of his buddies would score big points with his spouse... the things they do to make an impression. women too, but they're a completely different story and there's not enough comment space to cover that one.

if i were to choose one animal to be, it would probably be an uncaptured dolphin. yea, ted-- sad that we marvel at animals through the plastic homes we build for them... you would think that more people would be vegetarian due to the moral displeasure of seeing road-kill.. but alas, people have no feelings

damn i hate fox news... anyone see the "fox attacks" documentary? it's exellent.

'mass effect' is for mature audiences, no? i mean, it IS a first-person shooter, and the intricacies of the plot are probably a little more complicated then your average super mario bros... so why are people surprised that there is sex in it? the only thing it's missing is alcoholic beverages and prostitutes! but wait-- the GTA series and the Sims, even, have covered those. but wait-- it objectifies women! well, what about 'portal' from the orange box series? that one is about a woman trapped in an experimental maze in which the experimentor tries to kill her once her tasks have been fulfilled... why wasn't that one targeted?

here's the point: video games are just that. GAMES. they depict war scenes, criminal activity, crude violence, nudity, sword fights, and lots of death. but you know what they also entail? pure entertainment. we do in games what we shouldn't do in real life. plus, if "researchers" are scared these activities depicted in games will "cause" kids to copy the actions, they're wrong. kids do bad things and get the wrong idea from bad parenting. if kids can't distinguish between "make-believe" and reality, it's the fault of the person who taught them what reality is.

here's the real question: how many homeless people could the meat ship feed?

i like how people are making sculptures out of food... it's almost an exact representation of American culture... "hey look! even our ART is made out of food!"

i don't know... i'm always a fan of original art, and jesus has been around for what, 2000 years now? at first glimpse, the image is just another "whoa, jesus!" i'm almost neutral to the idea of this one.
