I feel that it is a terrible shame that people are so prudish and ashamed of the human body to the point where a mannequin becomes offensive. Nudity is not offensive. People offended by their own bodies or the bodies of others, however, are incredibly offensive and a little bit sad. To find something like a naked mannequin offensive suggests that the person complaining has some serious underlying issues with self esteem, as well as a hyped up and misplaced sense of morality.
Meat is good and good for you. People do not eat enough offal in this day and age. If you really want to make the best of the animal, you use every bit you can. I have never had this dish, but haggis is no less offensive than any other part of the animal that is normally eaten.
That said, we are omnivores, and we are meant to eat a balanced diet that includes meat and veg. PETA, an organization with no respect for humanity and no understanding of animals, is little more than a hypocritical organization that supports domestic terrorism.
We should keep in mind that all inventions/discoveries have the potential to do both great harm and great good. Fear of the negative side of that potential should never halt scientific advancement.

If done right, this sort of conversion is pretty cool. Saw one not long ago on a TV show that was disappointing, though - only because they made it too minimalist/modern.
I mean, really, just because someone can afford to participate in an international regatta doesn't mean that they deserve to have their activity interrupted. Besides, having money doesn't make someone a bad person deserving of scorn.
