Curry?
Come on, everybody knows that George W. Bush did it. Everything else is his fault (or at least blamed on him), so why not add the JFK assassination to the pile?

Bonus round macro-economics question: What will happen if Miss C., Anita and 500,000 others put their houses up for sale in hopes of cashing in on a forecasted crash?

"And now for some good news... Majority Leader Nancy Pilosi's visit to Syria was a resounding success, resulting in assurances from Middle East leaders that the United States is no longer a target of Islamic jihadists."

Tell you what, Anthony, let's test it on you; strap on a Kevlar vest and we'll hit you with a couple of AK-47 rounds at point-blank range, one with an iPod in the way and one without. Then you tell us if he'd have been "fine" either way.
The main point is that at that range, the AK-47 bullet was traveling at full muzzle velocity (about 2,300fp/s), while the vest he was wearing is rated for a 50% chance of stopping anything traveling 1,525ft/s or faster. I would say that the iPod earned a Bronze Star. Or better.

I'd love to see an evolutionist explain how that came to be.

It’s been twenty years or so since I read that book; amazing, how quickly it comes back.
Well it's about time to pick it up again. Or better yet the whole series. There is much in the Chronicles that is written for adults; I've read the whole series a number of times (each of the books can be finished on a Sunday afternoon) and something new hits me every time.

Freedom of expression & freedom of speech? Please. The kid is just being an idiot, as is anyone else using "Pastafarianism" or the "Flying Spaghetti Monster" in an attempt to make a point.
Oh, and by the way, in what way is this "neat"?

So now sweeping generalizations are considered "Neat"? I don't think so. I've seen Grey's cartoons before, and consider his stuff amateur & uninspired, but I do have to admit it's not funny.
Compared to this, the British family fighting over the bone marrow transplant is definitely Neatorama-worthy.

Babson: The article says she lives in a "£380,00 home", not a £380,000 home. Either the article has the comma misplaced or has a zero missing. I also thought the placement of the comma could be one of those strange Brit things, but... Nah, won't go there.

Sounds like the brother is trying the guilt trip to force her to acquiesce, or get others to test for compatibility. And the Daily Mail seems to be playing right along with him, framing the story to make her out to be the villain, and making it appear that it would be a far greater loss if he were to die than her -- he's got two masters degrees, is working on a PhD & has an important position with a big company, while she lives in a cheap house & has a shoddy job.
The story is pretty one-sided, but leaves me feeling no pity for him, but lots of unanswered questions.

Truly something to aspire to. My tools are all in one place, but to organize them like Henry... Wow. Just wow.
As I was looking at the photo and reading the article, I'm thinking, "no way could two men & a boy lift that beast." Then sure enough, ... three strong men strain to lift it.

I saw something like that here a few years back; we had a day with torrential rainstorms (something like 5 inches in a couple of hours) and on my drive home there were two spots where water was gushing out of manholes with the covers dancing on top of the fountains. Much smaller scale of course, but it was impressive!
