Lea's Comments

I think Sofar hit it on the head.
But seriously. Birth-control? I know many religions are "against" it, but personally, I think God would be more against killing the earth with ridiculous overpopulation. I mean seriously, if you are religious and believe the Bible, even in loose terms, I don't think God meant this when he said "Go forth and be plentiful". At that time, there were technically 2 people.
And the reason they have the means to take care of 18 kids is, for the most part, they are TV-fodder. I really don't think their church has anything to do with it.
What bothers me is that with that many children, one woman cannot take care of all of them. The older ones end up taking care of the younger ones, or at least, that's what has happened in all of the large families I have known (which is a lot).

At Sazuka:
If you want to be taken seriously, try to express your opinion by first reading the actual posts (no one on here made a direct comment on HER parenting alone, one person said something about eyes). Secondly, try to express yourself by not cursing and namecalling. People will take you more seriously.
Perhaps I was not clear but I believe the brainwashing was directed toward her as much as the children. That being said, clearly you seem to know her personally and should contact the appropriate authorities and use your aggravation to help her.

bean, my thoughts exactly...
This person doesn't have the heart to chase it away? Let's see...what hundreds of chemicals have seeped into the POROUS surface of the eggs, possibly mutating, killing or at very least, making the babies and the mama and papa sick? And if any babies survive, how will that affect their babies (if they aren't barren) or animals that may eat them?

Their keepers should be fired. How could they have NOT seen these animals getting fat? This WHOLE thing could have been prevented.
This is a so depressing and sad.

I agree with Bean and Carl.
People who drive with their animals in their laps are irresponsible pet owners. Britney got in trouble with her kid in her lap, why are animals worth any less?
It's a danger to the person, the animal, and other drivers on the road. It's irresponsible AND inconsiderate.
That said, it's also irresponsible to drive while dialing/talking on the phone, while reading, while doing one's hair/make-up, etc. etc. WHY SHOULD WE EVEN HAVE TO SAY THIS?

I think, what I am trying to say is, people are stupid for a number of reasons and this is one of them.

I'm don't see how such a statement can be constitutional at all, or what purpose it even serves other than another excercise of beauracratic-paper wastage.

And if a place fired me for not wanting to sign something which I did not want to sign because of my religion, I wouldn't want to work there anyway.

I applaud his conservation efforts. Still don't like big-cat (or any) hunters, but his respect for the animals seems heartfelt.
But yeah, those things are kinda sad...
