It's like the gas prices. The price goes up, so people don't drive as much (proving it CAN be done). If the price goes down, though, you can bet everyone will be dusting off the Hummers and burning tons of gas again. Sad, really.

Yes, it has happened before. But those were ADULTS. This is a great example of how to damage child's psyche for life. This little girl will always know that she wasn't cute enough to represent her country.
