RoboRally is a fun game, it's based off those championships where guys build robots to trash each others. If you want a really good horror based board game, look up Betrayal at House on the Hill. The outcome is different each game since the board is made of tiles, and one of the players becomes a traitor where he is set against the rest of the gamers.

I think I'll toss them $5 myself for their year old independently developed game just to support them, and have it on my computer should I ever have the desire to play it. This business model works well as long as there is no middle man, and unfortunately, Paypal is such a thing and profits could be better had it not been necessary. Like record companies, I would much rather avoid them and put the money directly into the hands of the artists.

@NE

Not very many people would stop, and get out of their car to examine a wounded animal which could potential have rabies. Most people are raised to fear nature, if that helps answer your question.

I think if we want to cut out all the use of plastic for packaging, we need to completely redesign how it's sold. Most of which is used to dangle in front of people and pray on their impulse thoughts with "bigger is better" packaging, being able to see the product through a hard plastic container, and "Oh look! Shiny!" attention grabbing foil artwork. Smart shoppers are bad for the economy, but it's the stupid ones that drive it forward.

I guess another reason why religious content gets added to various Sci-Fi materials, is that there aren’t any copy write laws to restrict the use of it, so you've got a truck load of open source episode material.

Ok, well looks like it's 50/50 for those in favour of more posts about human suffering. Personally, I'm indifferent, I was just questioning if the regular neatorama readers/commenters to know more about the subject, no need to get snippy Tim. To peak your interest, about you take a look at this for more of a modern view of "un-anticipated" torture. I found it to be an interesting article.
