Something about seeing this was unsettling. I guess because it's such a bad thing to let a young kid do, and he did it with such ease that it obviously wasn't the first time.
The video clip made me feel as if just watching it made me a accessory to crime or something. :x
Weird.

Seeing these Scifi pictures makes me want to say:
Welcome to the world of animals. Living a horror movie with humans every day. Wait a sec... you sure PETA didn't make these? :P

Hmm... whats the bet that its pathetically expensive for what it is? All "ECO"/recycled crap is always expensive, which is why mainstream avoids it and the rich can feel better about themselves. /vomit.

I wonder why the person with the Camera didn't try to stop the dog?
Maybe the person with the camera was the dogs owner... Hmm... could be an evil camera person... >:(

If I would have known about this I would have gone, just for the social aspect. In my little town the local Dennys is pretty much "the spot" since other establisments in town don't stay open 24 hours. I'm sure I would have seen a lot of people I know. I don't care about it being free, just having an event in such a tiny town is a chance for fun. Dang... oh well. I missed it.

I think the biggest deterant for people would be the fact that you can't see the water inside. When it comes to water, people can be very picky. Especially if they're not sure of what they're getting. I could see people very easily skipping this on a shelf in favor of a glass or clear plastic container of water where they can see the contents.

I gotta agree with Zav, infact the commercials remimd me of another infomercial that used to run in a late night slot. It was for a battery opperated Dremel type tool, and they'd show it cutting through interesting things like... chain fences and padlocks.

HMMMm...

Plus, if I ever had something gold to sell, I'd put it up on ebay before ever turning to a gold-buying scam. At least on Ebay, someone might want it for a gift and would pay a lot more than someone wanting it for its exact gold weight.

I am an artist, and I can appreciate some graffiti art as being very intriguing and skilled. Having said that, I do firmly believe that any form of art placed in an outdoor place should be placed there ONLY after the general populace and/or the owner of that property have agreed to its placement. Tagging and placing Graffiti in a place where nobody has agreed to it, is a criminal act of defacement no matter how "pretty" it makes anything. Just as most of you wouldn't want me to come to your house/appt and paint the outside/inside an ugly gray and brown plaid, polkadot or paisley....so too should we leave others property alone. No matter how "cool" you think it is, its actually kinda asshat.

I'm more agnostic than athiest. I would probably say something along the lines of: "sure, pray for me if YOU think it will do some good".
I don't think it was a moment of "religious superiority" and more of a actual concern... so I'd be ok with that.

Its when religious people get get all "up in your business" determining what is right/wrong for OTHER people and thinking for some bizzare reason that religion gives them better morals... thats when I start to have a problem. If the woman was caught with a bong, and the nurse offered to pray for her. Then, the woman should be pretty pissed.

I like to imagine that not only will we perfect this method someday, and bring back some amazing creatures... but that perhaps in an even far more distant future, we'll be creating creatures of our imaginations using science.
The biggest step would be overcoming our personal views on such a task. (Ie... the whole "playing God is Taboo" crap)
Unicorns, Dragons, Gryphons, Hyppogryphs, hydras you name it... here we come!
The the uber rich will have them released on private reserves for an ultimate safari.

Hmm... sounds like the subject of a book. Probably is... there are no original thoughts anymore.

I don't think the creator knew anything about lolcats, other than how they speak. I didn't see any lolcat memes refenced. And whats this about wanting tea? I thought lolcats ate cheeseburgers?

Work for yourself, and nobody can ever fire you. Know what is needed, and find your niche.

My husband and I both work for ourselves. He owns a software design firm and I am a painter/sculptor with my own studio. While in theory work should be down, with consumers holding on tighter to their pocketbooks, this hasn't been the case for us as we both focus on very specialized markets.

Additional: Cops do the crappiest jobs in order to protect us. Some are bad cops, some are a little crooked... but I'd hold all judgment until I saw the evidence myself in the news.
Having said that, I'd spend my own money to give the guy a doughnut if I worked there. Yes he has money and gets paid, but he's a person too, and if this guy who works hard to protect us on a routine basis wants a snack, I'd give it to him. I find it highly unlikely that he was flexing his badge to save $0.33, and being a logical person I'd realize he was confused. I would then use my own money to give him one if the free ones weren't available.
No doubt there's probably a side to this story we aren't even hearing. Possibly the employee who the cop got in an argument with was a snot-nosed teen who was all "anti establishment" and decided to give the police officer hell for even asking.

I don't know about this... I mean, how I feel honestly.
On one hand I feel bad for the cop who had a hard day, though his "pals" at Krispy Kreme were going to hook him up with a nice snack and it went bad from there due to him being confused of the arangement.

On the other hand, should someone so easily confused and able to misdirect anger even BE a cop? (I have to assume he had some sort of pent up emotions going on from something else and he took it out on the KK crew, because getting into an argument over a doughnut seems weird.)

Hmm...
