Sassafras's Comments

Cancer can be frightening and people will go to drastic measures to fight it. The thing is, anyone can access all types of "clinical studies" on the web but they may not be able to judge whether it's a good study or not. Just because it was published by Dr So-and-So doesn't mean it's scientifically sound or that is wasn't sponsored by someone with a vested interest.

However, good luck to them! If he's not consuming it directly from the source then it's not too different from cow's milk is it?

Here is a similar (short) film showing London streets in the early 20th century:

What I like best is that everyone is so normal and human...laughing, frowning, slouching...so different from the stiff posed people we see in photos from that era.

Woogie, Evilbeagle, global warming doesn't just mean a nice winter tan for us all, it means more extreme weather (eg snow in Texas).

Personally, I lose more sleep over depletion of natural resources and dependence on oil than on global warming, which I think has been picked up on as a "fashionable" trend by the mainstream media.

Years ago, the guide on the Universal Studios backlot tour told us the Bates House was built on a slightly smaller scale so Anthony Perkins would appear larger than he really is.

Does this sound plausible? I haven't seen Psycho so I don't know if he was kidding.
