I can hear the cats saying, "All right, keep your big yap shut, or it's curtains for you," with an Edward G. Robinson sneer. "You'll take the fall, if you know what's good for ya."
I cannot tell you how many summer nights I suffered through sweating under the safety of the covers. Don't let any part of you show if possible, but leave a hole near your face for fresh air. Nothing hanging off the bed. Switching on the side lamp in as rapid a movement as possible. I had a night light until I was well into my teens. That's what a vivid imagination will do.
From left field, but Herger/Joyous, from the 13th Warrior. He was a Viking, blond, intelligent (spoke Greek), wily (tricked a much bigger warrior into a duel, then killed him; survived the movie), friendly, courteous, absolute joy in life. And Dennis Storhøi played him perfectly.
My kids got me started watching Adventure Time. Now it's our weekly show that we all watch together.
If you're not watching it, please give it a try, although at this point the mythology is getting deep. The basic story is that 1,000 years before there was an apocalyptic event. Two people survive from that time: Marceline, the vampire queen (the little girl sewing the eye on her doll in the link), and the Ice King, whose real name is Simon. Simon rescued Marceline, who was the child of a demon (who has also survived the apocalypse, but he only shows up now and then), and discovered a magic crown in their wanderings. Simon used this crown to prevent the complete destruction of the world, and it warped him into the Ice King, who is really more sad and messed up than evil.
After this apocalypse, certain objects gained sentience. One of these objects became Princess Bubblegum, who is quite intelligent and developed the Candy Kingdom of creatures through science. Finn, who is about 13, is the only known human (his origins are still not clear), although a human woman appears later in the show for a couple of episodes, but then goes on her way. Jake the dog is Finn's adoptive brother.
Finn loves to go adventuring with Jake, and is a bit of a hero. There are many kingdoms with many princesses, and all types of interesting characters.
I live in the Bay Area and work in Silicon Valley. Many of the wealthier areas are in the hills, real hills, on narrow roads, hidden among trees. I'll drive down a different street during my commute and discover whole new, hidden neighborhoods, or nearly empty rural swatches of land.
A lot of these very nice, expensive areas don't have access to cable yet because of where they're located. Cable runs on cable, and if cable hasn't been installed, you can't get it. That leaves many of these wealthy types with, at best, phone plans from AT&T or Verizon, and they are a lot slower than a high-speed cabled connections.
He's British. They take acting jobs because they're offered and they pay the bills. They usually go to an art or drama school and get a degree, and then they approach it as anyone else who goes to school and gets a degree: it's a job/career and that's how you make your living. Fame just means they get paid better and can be a bit picky about the roles they take.

Second, just dump the screwed up body shape of Barbie and make her humanoid.
