love this movie because it was set in my hometown. The real story... not the movie. Jean Sheppard grew up here. Drank a lot of beer at Flick's Tap. My son went to school at the same school Shep went to.

while I didn't see a reaction that looked like fear in that kid's face, I didn't see a child with ADD either. simply not sitting still isn't ADD. His attention was quite focused on the puppet. Hyperactive, possibly. Attention seeking, quite probably. ADD, hardly.

That said, I'm scared to death of seahorses. Used to have nightly nightmares of finding dead dried up seahorses under my pillows. Not regular dreams but the ones where you think you woke up from a dream but that's actually still part of the dream.

I watched the video. ems did a great job trying to keep this man/bring him back to life while in the background you hear people laughing and then complaining that nobody was doing mouth to mouth.

Has nobody heard of the new CPR?

Geez people, it's not like there is blood and gore in the picture. It is a picture of how ALL of us started out. I think it was awesome good luck to be able to witness this. Thanks for sharing Neatorama!!

do you discriminate because of someone's hairstyle? clothing choices? dental hygiene? eye color?

These are also personal choices.

and yes, tattoos are generally more thought out than children. How many times do you think people have looked at their skin and said "OMG how did that tattoo get there?" compared to "OMG how did I get pregnant?"

It bothers me when people flat out say that tattoos are stupid. They are a life choice and by those who choose to become heavily tattooed it is usually a well thought out life choice. Generally more thought out than having children.... which is another life choice that an abundance of people find "stupid." I have visible tattoos and work in the school systems (no I am not a janitor or a lunch lady). I have friends who are within the corporate world (as supervisors no less) who have visible tattoos, facial tattoos even.

We have found that it is more how well you do your job rather than what tattoos you have or don't have that allows you to maintain your job. I am very good at my job and parents and my students love me.

I guess my point is, don't judge a book by its cover.

And technically I guess I have 2 of the 10 "stupid tattoos." I have a tattoo on the back of my neck and I have a tattoo that I feel is funny/cute (and makes me smile daily after 3 years). Not all tattoos have to be serious or mean something. We don't live at Miami Ink.
