For quite a few years there's been designer jeans with oil splashes, iodine stains, permenant glue globs, all sorts. TK Maxx gets quite a few of them in as end-of-line cheapo sales.
We have tunnels under quite a few cities in the UK too, Newcastle for one. They were used to move coal and such from pits, across the city centre to the docks.
