It does look like wood, but it also looks like it has been milled into a 4x4.

Of course it also looks like a rock. Considering the weathering pattern on the rocks around it, a wood like texture developing on it doesn't seem that implausible.

That duck blood thing doesn't seem too complicated to replicate at home. I could re-purpose a bench vise. I wonder how the carcass is treated (spices, etc), or if the sauce is treated after.

I'm not particularly miserly, but I definitely allow my inherent laziness help me save money. Ie, I've been using shampoo sample packets for about 2 weeks now because I've been too lazy to go out and buy another bottle. I knew all those packets would come in handy!

You know, it's funny - it was just a couple of weeks ago that I found the series posted online and had a huge little house on the prairie marathon over the course of a few days.

I feel confident in saying that every episode is chock full of family-safe, god fearin' goodness.
