Yes, there's much more to the story. Like the part about "he also took a multivitamin pill, drank a protein shake, and ate some vegetables [typically a can of green beans or three to four celery stalks] each day."

The way the media is promoting this story is really irresponsible. You too, Neatorama.

My daughter's school did something similar: Took all the freshwomen (women's college) off for a whole afternoon/evening of activities. They were pretty blunt: Parents, it's time for you to go.

It worked perfectly: The parents had nowhere to go except home, and the students were kept so busy they didn't have time to feel lonely, sit alone in their room, miss the parents, etc.

To those who don't see the need because the lights are always in the same location: Do you every drive at night, or in for or rain? You have to be pretty close to see the relative position of the lights that are not lit.

Did you really give this any thought before posting?

Took me 55 seconds. Would have been faster if I could type faster. Helps that I've lived on both coasts. But really, should this be a problem for any American?

@1: Uh, they did it by percentages. You understand percentages, don't you?

I love Firefox, but it's very true that the plugin technology has opened up some vulnerabilities.

And guys: You can be a fan of a product without being a closed-minded shill.

The basketball may go out of the frame (not surprisingly), but watch all the other kids. There is no change in their position, no jerky movements, nothing to suggest a fake.

So...it would be smarter and much faster if they tried to walk through the standing water, right?

The dog is smarter than the person who posted this.

I'm on Facebook, but I have no interest in friending my college-age kids. They should feel free to interact with the friends without worrying about me seeing what they're talking about.

I don't listen in on their phone conversations, either. It's the same idea.
