Yup Bio ethanol from corn is insanity.
But it is also PAYOLA for your corrupt glove puppet politicians.
And remember kids, these guys would happily see you starve so that they get on inch closer to the trough.
The weird thing is that all the chaff and stalk and husks from argriculture, could be burned to create energy, or even distilled to make Methanol, it's not as good as ethanol, but it is a win with next to no cost.
I would just like my own parliament(UK)to explain how it is that we need to be spending £150 billion on nuclear submarines at a time like this.

IED?
I knw it is understood, but I dunno about it entering the POP culture.
My house mates brother was blown to bits by one of these, as have an awful lot of people, so I don't think it'll be too flippantly used in hip hop, as GAT was.
Folk tend to be a bit touchy about such.
Just a tought.

poorly phrased that.
What I meant to say was it was lifted from Kung Ho, when the marines were stationed in Shangai pre ww2.

As for Gung Ho.
I know it is the immortal battle cry of the USMC,
"Semper fi, do or die, gung ho gung ho gung ho."
But it's use by the Marines predates WW2.
It was lifted from the Kung Ho, from Shanghai.
Incidentally the orignal phrase means something like "workers collective".
I like stuff like that.
The miltary arm of wall street marching off to war singing out Red Chinese Communist Slogans.

I work as a games artists, so there is brisk trade in Audiobooks in the industry.
The entire Lee Child canon did the rounds.
And while they are frothy and enjoyable the one thing that really began to Grate was this line
"Reacher said nothing"
It must appear a couple of thousand times.
I would recommend "A Prayer For Owen Meany" by John Irving, or "The Crow Road" by Ian Banks

I remember Evan Dorkin, the NYC cartoonist telling me that Hassidic Jews were the worst drivers ever.
Evan is Jewish so I hardly think this is anti semitism.
He said that anyone that confident that god was on there side was a bad propsition behind the wheel
