...And so that is how I became like this... Now get on with it and kiss me so that I can fit in my harness again and take revenge on that darn sorcerer with my big enchanted battle-axe!

So anyway..., now you know how I got Head-Tech at the Large Hadron Collider facility in France. ...One cup of milk before I go? And now PLÉÁSE put me down, will you...? I get backache like you hold me.

Say- How big were Opabinia and Hallucigenia...?
Are we talking inches or feet here...? I mean, dino's sometimes give me the creeps, but to think that something like Opabinia swam the oceans at a same size of a modern Great White shark.....?

...There goes my peaceful sleep.....

Incredible.

...Could this have to do with the effect that young animals sometimes have on older mammals...? I mean, you also see dogs that take care of tiger-kittens and things like that. And it is observed that sometimes if a prey animal does not behave like prey (run away, express fear), it isn't attacked at all.

Beautiful!

Now who would think of that...!

I'd like to see Monty Pythons Fish Slapping Dance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhJQp-q1Y1s&feature=fvst performed by the original Star Trek crew...

But those fragments from Star Trek also do show how things have changed since then in the depiction of science fiction...

Glad that there are still places where there isn't a governmental organisation that promptly scraps this event because of health-hazards and too much personal risks.

These pictures have a Ghostly quality about them.- Like the past still somehow exists there and there is ... like a ...magic frame... that can give a peek into such pasts.

Wonderful.
What incredible times do we live in.

Arh- Instant Workplace-stench for my line of technical manuals!

Instant Manure-stench for my series of Farm-seasons-books!

Fertilizer-and-daffodil-smell for my Home-gardner-books!

- And of course Fresh-Sushi-odor around the cookbooks on how to be a homegrown Japanese Chef...

And then several containers of different smells connected to a USB-port and you can have Smell-o-Vision while browsing the internet. :-)

With modern art if asked for any comment, I usually stick to-

"...Fascinating....! ...Ahmmmmmmmm....,very interesting to observe that this piece truly makes the mind go into overdrive...."

From that point on I can go in several directions, most of them just as vague as the opening line. And as far as most modern art goes that is how I prefer to keep it for those who do not know me...

@Roxanne- I once heard a sociologist explain that in the Western World modern day culture is such that people have learnt to respect performances and to observe them from a safe distance, preferably with a physical divide- stage versus seats. Also grown up people have a strong sense of "the world as it should be"- If something happens that does not fit that normality- people doe not really know how to react. And then there is the reflex that if something invasive happens, people retreat rather than to act upon that happening. Those 2 combined makes that people rather would call the cops than that they would appreciate what happens or even participate... I aplaud you for asking that first question. That means that you 2 are able to thing outside the box and that you by definition are not afraid of all the invasive unknown.
