i find this critter very disturbing. i'm not entirely sure why. but i don't like it.

once they're 3+ pounds, they get tough and less tasty.

i'm really glad i'm not the student who had to glue the strings to the mosquitoes. now that i think of it, i want my own grad student to boss around.

i love the idea, but it's not so eco when you're taking a newspaper out of the dispenser, not reading it, soaking it through, and throwing it away.

while they're at it, how about closing the government for five days too? the week between xmas and new years is not terribly productive.

when i was a kid, the last week of school was used for eating cupcakes and cleaning out your locker. a lot of families didn't even send their kids.

cancel detention, which is a waste of students' and teachers' time and accomplishes nothing, and save an hour every day. do away with those pointless half days throughout the year too. make all remaining school hours productive, and you'll lose nothing and save money.

it's a star, not a swastika. it's hair, which will grow out in a couple weeks. lighten up.

so if you ski in that area the snow might be contaminated with leaked car fluids and roadkill?
